Mr Nixon has been surprisingly quiet - I wonder if there is a lot going on - and he will give us something juicy tonight. Following the Robinson signing there seems to have been a bit of a lull.

I think the opposite! its so quiet nothings going on!Ince is on holiday till thursday!

My bet on the 5 players we are going to sign will be Keith Andrews, Bradley Orr, Willy Guéret, Robbie Fowler and Jermaine Pennant. This will be after we have sold Bentley...

With the money we are known to have available and the money we will get for Bentley, i can see this being one of the most underwelming transfer windows in reflection on what we have to spend (ie, around £20 million +)...

Oh and just for the record, id really rather we didnt sign Mark Bresciano as for the 5 million he is available for, i think we could do better. We could sign Michael Bradley who is 8 years younger, has shown bundles of talent in the Dutch league and have 2 million change if we chose him over Bresciano!

not great that amdy faye rumours resurface around the same time as we are after holding players. On a side note really wish brad had said it was purely financial that he left in his conference, instead of the rambling answer he gave that made rovers out to be not the greatest club to be at right now.

Hopefully just to put your mind at rest a little, I think the latest rumours relate to Bolton's Abdoulaye Faye.

Come to think of it, I doubt that will put your mind at rest at all!

What is the evidence for this assertion that the players "are fed up of continually doing sit-ups?" Who is your source for this allegation? All I seem to read from you is negativity and hearsay. Have you been out to Germany or Portugal with the squad? You are certainly doing your best to make everyone miserable! Are you privy to the training regime at the club?

I continually stress to my history students to ask "what is the evidence?" If you have a source name him or her and then we can test the evidence otherwise can I suggest you stop making this type of statement.

It is hearsay, source cant be revealed, as for negativity just scroll back and you'll find me standing up for Matty Derbyshire. The evidence is why i ask Nicko to see if there is any substance in the alleged 'allegation', hopefully nicko will be able to give a clearer picture.

But i do agree it isnt positive.
