Eddie Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I wouldn't scream about fowler, he's a freebie. Andrews for a relatively big fee would make me scream, buy a gun and hop on the next eurostar.

Roar of the Rover Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Fowler to be given a permanent deal? If Andrews signs then that's it I think, I'll have absolutely no faith in Ince. Why? Andrews or Mokoena? Which one would you prefer?
LeChuck Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Why? Andrews or Mokoena? Which one would you prefer? I have no idea, Mokoena possibly. Don't understand your point though.
thenodrog Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 would Blackburns board sell if the right price came in? Nope. Watching the Sunday Supplement and even they said Roque is a major player for us this season. We won't sell for anything over £40million. Still wanna bid? I trust you meant 'under' Roar?
Silencio Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Why? Andrews or Mokoena? Which one would you prefer? Mokoena is better than Andrews...
nicko Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Just a thought before I go off on other busines until later... Is there anyone here who has seen BOTH Andrews and Annan in action and can honestly say which one is better? There is ONE guy who has. He is called Paul Ince. Let him make the call.
rebelmswar Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Why? Andrews or Mokoena? Which one would you prefer? I find it awful that we are even entertaining this question.
thenodrog Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Cue hordes of nickoteens lining up to defend their 'Master Po'. He also thinks a Lancashire Utd team is a good idea, which shows his understanding of football. Crikey! It's Grasshopper!
Martin Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 There will be an 11 o'clocker tonight... One bit of news that will cause screaming and another thing that is a hint of something to cheer people up. Well, that quote means Andrews is signing. Rubbish, absolute rubbish.
Sandiway Blue Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I think the only way Andrews coming in would be acceptable would be if Mokoena went for £1.5-£2m and Andrews came in for considerably less.Ince knows the player and his capabilities and we should trust his judgement even if we don`t go along with it.I wonder if we would have greeted Andrews coming in with the same sceptism if it had been Hughes still in charge rather than Ince?
rovers1993 Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 im going to be the only one laughing my arse off when/if andrews signs and he becomes one of our major player and perform amazing next season i have no clue how he plays and how he is nor to 90% of the people on this board so i don't think anyone should be jumping into the "Don't sign andrews" bandwagon when we don't know for sure how good he is and as nicko said, ince is the only one who knows the better between annan and andrews.
1864roverite Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I do believe that Hull and Stoke are looking at The Axe, maybe thats the news. Both had representatives at our game yesterday so I am told. As a side issue, I cant see Fowler swinging a contract based on his performances so far. Everyone who has reported on him agrees he is now out of his depth. If Ince and co cannot see that then we are the proverbial F***** ! Villa can bid all they want I dont see Rovers selling and I certainly don see Villa paying out £14m PLUS. City have no dosh so the only thing worth mentioning about them should be in the City thread. Looks like Manure have two options that do NOT include RSC. Berbatov and Terry henry are the 2 players being coveted by RFW. After all has been said and done I feel the smoke screen is well and truly in the Ewood air.
Greenall_David Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Nicko, Any news on a RW before the season starts? Or his ince gunna put Brett there? After yesterday's perfomance who's going to take ried's place in cm? I though Dunny was Outstanding! Shame not to see Vogel come on.
den Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Well, seeing that we will probably be signing him: Keith Andrews profile.

Watching the Sunday Supplement and even they said Roque is a major player for us this season. We won't sell for anything over £40million. Still wanna bid? I trust you meant 'under' Roar? Nope, anything under £40million could mean something like £10million, which we won't be happy with. Anything over £40million I think everyone would be happy

Irrelevant because Hughes would never have signed him would he?
hawkiiz Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Irrelevant because Hughes would never have signed him would he? he signed berner. and the hated mokoena.. who really is not that bad at all. how many jumped on hughes for bringing in samba?
thenodrog Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Nope, anything under £40million could mean something like £10million, which we won't be happy with. Anything over £40million I think everyone would be happy Your english is still wrong.
hawkiiz Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Well, seeing that we will probably be signing him: Keith Andrews profile. who will find out how he did the one game he played for wolves in 2003/04 in the premier league? so he HAS prem experience after all?
roversmum Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Nope, anything under £40million could mean something like £10million, which we won't be happy with. Anything over £40million I think everyone would be happy No, they wouldn't
Pugg Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Well, that quote means Andrews is signing. Rubbish, absolute rubbish. I am presuming that you have seen him play, so just a couple of questions; What type of midfielder is he? Defensive? By rubbish do you mean he is a rubbish midfielder or that you think the signing is rubbish? How did he play for MK Dons? Did he stand out at all? I have never even set eyes on him so would be interesting to know your opinion on him (and anyone else's who has seen him play).
Sandiway Blue Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 he signed berner. and the hated mokoena.. who really is not that bad at all. how many jumped on hughes for bringing in samba? And i suspect Nelsen and RSC..
LeChuck Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I think some people are forgetting how terrible League Two is. Maybe if the divisions were labelled One to Four again it would be more obvious. No-one Hughes ever signed compares to a 28 year old lower league journeyman.
