No, the latest news is from the Leicester City boardroom.

I've only seen Andrews play a couple of times. My opinion of him does not matter.

Your manager wants to sign him.

End of.

I take it you dont rate him at all...

It would be nice to hear your opinion though as someone who watches enough players to know a good one when he sees one.

Sounds to me like you don't rate him - you have questioned Ince passing on other players we have had on trial - but at no point have you queried Ince's decision not to push through the Andrews deal quickly.

As you say Ince wants to sign him - it would appear nobody really understands why.

So two central midfielders, and its likely that one of them is Andrews and the other not Annan...

I take it Sable and Bassye are going home and Fowler will be given more time until he does something that would be able to half convince the masses that he is worth the contract...

Yes to the first question.

Sable has gone, Bassye is still here. Fowler too.

Not at all.

I have NO opinion on Andrews because I have not seen enough of him.

The manager wants him - and he is the guy who matters.

I can't stress this enough.

i've said in earlier post i just wanted andrews signed so its out of the way, but i sincerely hope it ain't a straight 2m upfront. 750k-1m rest on performance surely 2m is way too much for a lower league player.

Still need to buy a firdt choice dm then, hammann?

Maybe Blackburn were watching.

Maybe Arsenal want me on trial.

I would go to Arsenal or Blackburn.

Yup...he's going to Arsenal.

But do you not agree that what he said was closer to the LET's version of events than yours? The LET and JW said they wanted to see Anann in a competitive game before making a decision, you said that he was told he would sign but was offered a loan and went off in a huff.

Annan "Everything went successfully and they told my agent they were coming to look at me again. I don't know whether they were here but if they saw me and they're more interested I think they will bid for me, and maybe the transfer will be ok for me"

Nicko has already stated in much earlier posts his opinion of Andrews.. and in the early stuff it was not exactly overly positive.

wonder how he can go on trial when Start says he cannot.

http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...tl=en&tl=en

Quotes = Stabæk

it says rovers wanted him in for another week, and that arse have also asked, but because of the contract with start he cant go. therefor Start have invited whoever fancy annan to get here and look.

Rovers did NOT want him for another week. They wanted him on loan.

Start WILL let him go to Arsenal because it's not a real trial...it's just a chance for Wenger to see him in the flesh.

I feel I have said this about 100 times. Has anyone been counting?

One of these days you will get one right.

This is not one of these days.

Annan came over and thought he was signing. The manager then offered him a loan. He left.

Now he is talking about alternatives.

Do I have to draw a picture?

I don't believe so. I haven't seen enough of the guy.

Don't mix telling you info with opinion.

It's like the Fowler thing. One hell of a story and yet it's seen as a major slur on the club in some quarters.

Deal with what is happening...

I'm not trying to pick holes in what you say, nicko, because as you have mentioned things are changing all the time. But this morning you were saying this...

Annan would rather NOT go to Arsenal as he would be in the squad and not playing in all probability.

But now you're saying that if it seems like a choice between Arsenal and us he will be going there. So he's happy to be a reserve?

a weeks loan then...

this is from official sites, like Start and Stabæk. they do not lie. and norwegian press do not make things up. its not like the british press over here.

A week's loan?

There is no such thing.

Start want the money - Annan wants to play in England - Rovers only want a loan - Arsenal want to buy.

Stabaek have him on loan to put him in the shop window and the crunch comes before he plays for them in Europe.

I am in danger of losing the will to live.

Because he's peeved at Rovers for only offering a loan.

Yes, he would rather come to Rovers.

But now the best English option is Arsenal.

Surely with Corluka wanting to stay in and around Manchester we should offer a cheeky five million bid, that would excite the masses and would be realistic. Corluka clearly wants to jump a sinking ship and we need a RB.....sounds good to me :D

On a side note, who else is a little worried considering we haven't even attempted to replace Bentley yet? Hmmm..... If I was Incey, I certainly think I would be making enquiries

i know there is not going to be a weeks loan :D our stories are so different it has to get a few laughs.

so what about the bid from spain then? have arsenal matched it? if rovers bid to get him on loan, what were they thinking? he is on loan already. why would they think start would rather send him abroad? of course rovers know that start really need money, and must have been total fools to believe they could get him on loan.

If a Christian says God exists 100 times does it make it true? Seriously nicko are you capable of a mature debate where we look at the facts and provide evidence for our claims? I'm sorry if it offends you that not everyone takes evrything you say at face value. I have been reading Hawkiiz's posts and they seem to me quite well informed unlike you who will only say your "Norweigen contact" says so.

Again an answer of unsubstatiated "facts" that don't directly answer the original question. I'll remind you of it once more; do you agree or not agree that Annan's comments today fit more with the LET's version of events or your versions of events; a simple "yes" or "no" will do.

Your last line is just childish and dummy spitting. How old are you seriously?
