Not sure if it's been posted before but just read that Start has rejected a bid from a Spanish club on Annan and are hoping to hear from Blackburn today.

Mathisen wouldn't reveal the amount, just said the offer was too low.

Bit of a twist on the supposed interest from Villa in RSC. The rumour being that we aren't interest in RSC but rather Morten Gamst Pederson and that there is some sort of release clause allowing him to talk to clubs in Europe if Blackburn aren't.

Sounds like tosh to me but interested in Rover's fans thought's and yours Nicko.

I can see your point after the last couple of seasons, but MGP has looked pretty decent in pre-season and it wouldn't surprise me if he has a decent season now that Bentley is gone and the shift from most of the play on the right hand side to more centrally and on the left.

If the ball is going to spend more time on the left then we need to replace Perdersen.

There's been enough players out - this isn't championship manager where players will bed in immediately, and the seasons start is a stones throw away. Pedersen works hard defensively and is decent going forward if he's not having a bad day. Unless the offer is high, he should be kept.

We're still short a DM and an AMR (keeping the champ man theme!), and I think we should be concentrating on these areas first and foremost.

do i understand you correctly, suggesting rovers agreed a contract with pedersen that if we for any reason do not enter europe, he can go?

get sober please.

thats a contract man utd could have agreed on. not a club like rovers who really rreally struggle to get a sniff at europe.
