Cally I havent spoken to this person or read anything from their website. Its come from a big lfc fan who visits my fther in law, a fellow lfc supporter. he has been and has told him about the situation and that he has been told by someone associated with that site who is involved in the running of it.

I only know that whilst away on holiday Rovers were linked and I wasnt here when he gave my f-i- l the information

Yes we do normally play Young on the left however we need someone on the right thus our interest in Bentley and Ashley is right footed.

carlos is supposed to be a great set-piece taker, but i agree pedersen will probably shine again this year.

Ped has been doing well in preseason and does seem to have got his spark back now that ego-boy has buggered off to the spuds. You have Ped, Carlos, I suppose Dunn too will be on free kick duties

Any chance of rovers ever spending big, i mean £7m+ ever again. As much as i love the club for being the most sensibly run i am still a stupid fan who sees expensive signings as the second coming. On second thoughts we've never signed a good player over £5m have we Dailly,davies,Grabbi,fergus.....can't think of any others but they all stank. Ahh Sutton of course, but that was 5m on the nose not over!

Maybe he's the midfielder Nicko dropped hints about. He's definitely in dispute if you believe the reports being banded about. It would be pretty funny to take a player from Hughes (I know it's petty).

I don't really rate him. By all accounts he's meant to be very skillful though. He did have a funny turn last year or so back when he dropped out of the Ireland squad claiming that his grandma had passed away (when she didn't). He got found out and then claimed it was his other grandma (who was still about also?). The truth was his girlfriend had suffered a miscarriage - which is a fair enough reason to drop out (and probably even more valid than claiming a dead grandma) but it was baffling why he just didn't say that originally. Footballers, eh?

He is a very good player. Attacking midfielder, can play on the right wing, too.

ANDREWS - MK Dons people say it is still ongoing...just a bit puzzled that it has not gone through straight away.

ANNAN - No update...a Spanish team in?...where did that get mentioned last night.

MOKOENA - I hear there is Championship interest, but he does not want to go.

PENNANT - Available but no serious move.

I do hear there might be a couple of odd Rovers stories in some papers tomorrow. But I'm waiting to see if this is correct - and then put a bit more meat on the bones if they do appear.
