Um do you know the meaning of the word "trial"? You seem to have a trial mixed up with a contract offer because as far as I'm concerned you bring players in on trial and then at the end you decide whther you want them or not, where's the lack of respect? A trial becomes pointless if you attach some kind of obligation to buy on them...

Then again what am I saying, the concept of a trial seems to cause confusion with you as is evident from your Arsenal reports (Have you actually decided on whether they're buying him, having a look or taking him on trial yet?).

Firstly they are discussing two different subjects, JW who is talking about Annan's quality and Ince who's talking about whether the time he had was enough to assess his valuation, apples and oranges.

I also notice that you conveniently left out this line from Ince's interview (cherry picking is a standard Journo trick so I'm not surprised).

But then we wouldn't Ince's comments corroborating with JW's now would we? People might start thinking they talk to each other!

Seroiusly mate cant you just leave it so that you dont spoil it for the rest of us. We are all capable of deciding what to believe and how to iterprut the info Nicko gives us. Nicko - how likely do you think it is that we can get a signing done in time for the start of the season? I believe it probably take a couple of days to do the medical, signing of contract etc... so if there are to be any signings, negotiations should be at an advanced stage now. Any signs of that? Thanks.

What topics are you talking about? Most of the last two pages have concerned the comments attributed to Ryan Nelsen and who exactly has been leaking all the stories to the press.....

In other words your scared he'll run off if we upset his feelings like he's done in the past? I ask questions if something doesn't add up to me, deal with it! If anything it gets him to reveal more info and not less and he's so damn eager to back up his claims...

Sometimes it seems the rule is you can have an opinion just so long as it's nicko's opinion on here.

He wouldn't come back here and I am led to believe it was because he'd done all that had been asked of him and Rovers still wouldn't release the funds to take us up to the next level in his eyes. I believe he saw the amount as being relatively small (£15m was mentioned) - and self financing over the next 2-3 years and felt a promise had been broken.

That would not suprise me one bit. My observations (albeit from afar) suggest to me that the disenchantment began last January when he'd sold Sav and apparently Hughes was prevented from replacing him by lack of funding. No wonder he soured when he could see that he alone had put 40m+ into the coffers at BRFC and was effectively prevented from moving forward and his judgement questioned. If true it is absolutely shameful and the decision maker should be outed..

What is far more irritating is that as soon as anyone dares to question or put an alternative view, there is a spate of posts from the fan club saying "leave our Nicko alone" - in fact things would read much better if all such whines were banned and deleted.

This is a Rovers discussion forum not a journalist appreciation society. Put the poster on ignore if you don't like reading his posts.

Unfortunately, chicken pox isn't so simple when you get it when you're older - I had it at 22, and was laid up, properly, for three weeks. It was a good two or three weeks after that before i got any kind of confidence to go out in public back again.

It seriously shakes you - Not only with flu like symptoms for the duration, but also leaves you feeling run down in every way. I've said it before, but i hope the club are taking it seriously and helping him settle as much as possible. He's not going to be fit for a while, and will need a lot of help feeling welcome after this.
