Not really of Rovers relevance but watching Brazil v China in the olympics and i'm hugely impressed by a few of the Brazilians yet to make the move to europe. Especially centre back Thiago Silva. He's got it all. Plays for Fluminense i think. He should be next on Ince's south american wish list.

Fowler will offer a lot more experience to the younger pros and i am quite happy to have a proven goalscorer on the bench, if we are chasing a game and need a goal. After all he is replacing Rigters in the squad so thats an improvement to the squad in my eyes.

What do you think about Dunny becoming vice captain at Rovers Jal?, i bet you were crying all night when Rovers annouced that.

To be fair you got "slaughtered" for saying that we had treated Annan and Castillo badly. You inferred that despite both of them coming on trial, we had some moral obligation to offer them a contract at the end of it. I've still seen no evidence to suggest a loand was offered or that he went of in a huff but I don't know so I'm willing to let that one lie.

Still interested to know what your opinion is of MK Dons taking him off the transfer list (which is obviously only going to annoy MK Dons fans if they still intended to sell him) and why is was made captain yesterday in a game that will cup tie him and take away a big chunck of the fee the Dons could get.

It seems to me that MK don't want to sell....

2 different things. He might have said he would like to talk to Newcastle, but a transfer request is different, and he would lose his loyalty bonuses should he move.

His cut of the transfer drops from 20 to 10% I think. I'm okay with people asking for a transfer but don't like this 'engineering a move' rubbish.

Its quite simple really.

He has not handed in a formal transfer request. "The reports are rubbish. I have not handed in a transfer request"

But he wants to leave.

Bit like me at work. Im looking, and applying for other jobs but i havent handed in my notice yet.
