Actually I agree with you its very unlikely but not exactly dreaming I'd rather Ashton even though RSC is a quality player. Oh and Birmingham isn't a town.

You should be getting Milner...paying £9 million...but I have been saying that for six months or more...that Martin O'Neill isn't the quickest.

is the LARSSON thing dead yet?

if he play against wycombe tonight, will we drop the chase because he is cup-tied? (even though its just the carling...

If it was ever alive...which I don't think it was.

No. It's merely a service station on the way to somewhere nice

Very good, made me laugh that.

I see Seb Larsson getting mentioned a lot on here, are you supposed to be after him?

We like too think so, but in reality its only been rumoured on such truthful sites as tribalfootball.

No, they've built the toll road now so you can miss it altogether now. The journey south is much more pleasant.

To be honest you wouldn't be missing much I've seen a fair bit of him and never really rated him i think Rovers could do better.

Bresciano is being linked with a move to rangers, have you heard anything about this nicko? Are rovers still interested in him and grella?

I was never too convinced about Bresciano and Grella as targets.

I know Bresciano was watched about two weeks go...and nothing has happened since.

But I have to say, in the current climate, that anything is possible with two midfield players still wanted - and none here yet.

THAT is the most troubling thing as we speak.

I'd suggest he's better than reverting back too Emerton MK1.

Infact, scratch that, MK1 is good for the first game of the season. We desperatly need to buy a new RM before Hull.

I think Pennant would be a better option for you than Larsson personally due to his pace but thats just me.

I hope you get one sorted and the other players you need, I like Blackburn and you boys have had a rough summer I've no desire to see you have a bad season.

Cup tie, shmuck tie, it's stripping someone of the captaincy that REALLY devalues a player ;)

You missed the point.

And for the record, I think Hull will be a harder game than Everton. Far more expectation.

He has a good work ethic, decent crossing and passing ability. Better than Pennant, only young as well. IMO he will only get better.

Still hoping we go for a more established right sided player but i fear that Pennant is the one Ince is going for.

Nicko, with annan being passed over and MK Dons adamant over the fee for Andrews is Ince looking seriously at other CM targets or is he just hoping that MK dons reduce their price on or before the eve of the transfer window?

SSN reporting RSC has been picked to play for Paraguay next week!?!?!

Fabulous timing

I've also seen on NewsNow that McCarthy and Mokoena have been selected for South Africa too!

Who would you go for by choice?

The worrying aspect is which players appear to be being considered as adequate replacements/additions to the squad.

If you accept that Man U.Chelsea,Arsenal and Liverpool will continue to dominate the top 4,then we have to judge ourselves against the likes of Spurs,Villa,Everton.Newcastle ,Portsmouth .Would any of these teams consider employing Robbie Fowler ? [ l'pool perhaps as a match day host], and would they sign a 28 year old midfielder from a lower league club to strengthen their squad ?.The new manager should be given time to prove himself, but the signs are ominous,- silk purses and sow's ears comes to mind.

Realistic options are pennant, lennon, or larson. I wouldnt mind any of them, but i wud prefer lennon if i had to choose one. Milnerwould be a good signing.
