So Santa Cruz trained today? Will there be any objections to him playing midweek for Paraguay? It's Wednesday?

Sorry, my bad - I somehow thought the International would be played before our match against Everton. Good thing I got my plane tickets right at least. B)

Beattie is recovering from knee surgery and is approx 4 weeks away from a first team comeback.

Think pedersen has been back in training since monday, along with Emerton. Only 2 are touch and go - RSC and King Carlos.

Nicko - Any news on that training game?

i read it on saturday. he got some sore nerve in his leg all the way up to det bumper... he can do some alternative training, so i doubt he is fully fit yet? nicko?

Minor update...there was a training game and work on the line-up, but it would be wrong to divulge any details apart from the fact that Roque was doing some work on his own but seems to be fit.

Interesting Champions League stuff tonight.

Shabani Nonda gets two for Galatsaray - never rated him. Brilliant to see Bruce Rioch taking Aalborg near to the group stages...a real manager. And Panathinaikos won away again...good old Henk Ten Cate.

No major transfer news apart from the Konchesky thing being 'live' - although that does NOT mean Warnock is going.

Should be a Fowler decision and some news on where Annan is going tomorrow.

Pennant? Maybe. Andrews? Maybe MK Dons will decide to sell.

Cheers Nicko, I was glad to hear that we do money to spend because I was getting worried that the Bents money+ compo for Hughes might be soaked up by the club to clear debts on money owed.

Was Carlos training with the squad?

How do we interpret that? Alone as in getting himself fit with additional/different training, or training away from the squad because he's disgruntled?

There is no reason to go for Konchesky unless Warnock is leaving.

We wont sign him as a backup.

Exactly, especially as we have Martin Olsson as back-up.

Would be another weird decision.
