Hopefully better than the usual pitiful turnout to Everton

I wouldn't normally go to Everton because it's so dire for viewing purposes, but am making an exception with it being first game of the season.

I may be in the minority but I like going to Everton. Old fashioned ground, close to the pitch and good atmosphere! Beats the other breeze blocks we have to visit!

Long standing target?

I guess Nicko will know, one for 11 O'Clock?

I doubt it's Andrews though, he is a long standing target but valuations are far apart, he played last night, and I'm sure Nicko would have told us if something had developed on that situation.

Pennant would also be my guess.

I'm daring to be excited about this imminent signing.

I'd like to think this is the club doing the PR thing well again - put a rumour out, get the suspense up, then deliver big time.

Something big could turn opinion totally in favour of the management.

Here's hoping.

I don't see why this can't be the case. Nobody knew anything about Mini Santa Cruz until he signed, and we only found out about Danny Simpson around the same time that RFW told him he was coming.

Would be a nice surprise, but then again, it could be somebody crap.

I have to ask though SSN obvioulsy knew about the signing and shirt launch, so have gotten a camera down there purely because of the bid, do they just barge in and ask questions.

I assume they did not ask permission he looked a little shocked, and surely it would have been a bit more formal.

Are there any security staff there, or is it something to do with the TV money?
