I have to ask though SSN obvioulsy knew about the signing and shirt launch, so have gotten a camera down there purely because of the bid, do they just barge in and ask questions.

I assume they did not ask permission he looked a little shocked, and surely it would have been a bit more formal.

Just watched it, hoping its true and genuine. If someone like Bellamy had said that i would have serious doubts, but with Roque he comes across as honest and down to earth. His conduct so far at the club has been so professional.

At the same time I'm under no illusions, nothing is certain in football, things change rapidly and that money talks.

Just have to wait and see, but overall i do feel more confident that Roque is staying than i did last night/this morning.

If i recall Nicko believed the plan was for Ince to bring a bigish name or a more attractive name at the same time as Andrews?

So City put in the bid as a PR exercise just to create the facade that everything is ok with financies at the club. That makes sense actually with the bid only being twelve million They knew that Rovers would never accept it so didn't have to worry about how they were going to pay for him.

It would be a bit like bidding a £1 for a new car on E bay, it shows in your listing you are bidding on a fancy new car but you know you are not going to end up with it.
