I love how no one is suddenly allowed an opinion on this forum in case it just happens to step on the toes of our resident journalist. I'm sorry, but I'm entitled to my opinion, and if I think the Mirror's article on Robinson's so-called 'gaffe' was biased then I'm gonna bloody well say it.

I've said this before. The media have a job to do to earn their wages. Lets not confuse that with someone who has taken a considerable amount of time out to provide us Rovers fans with something worth reading.

If we don't like what is printed in the papers then don't read them. Plain and simple

Yes but the fact is despite Robinson making a save to help us win a match(albeit a friendly) The angle chosen was one of the calamity keeper strikes again.

Anyway, i think enough has been said about this already today.

Yes you are entitled to your opinion.

Have ever heard the word respect something that gives a poster creditability, even if his post is against the grain.

You may not care, but I get the feeling you have just alienated yourself from this board.

I find it amazing that the majority who slammed the article couldn't actually be bothered to go the the match. I did, and I read Nicko's report and thought it was a fair assessment. Too many people have missed the point he was making - That a goalkeeper who has been dogged by misfortune in recent times should be beaten by a deflected shot, on his debut, before he had a save to make. Nicko then went on to mention the brilliant save he made shortly afterwards.

As far as I'm concerned it was an accurate report of a match I watched. I really don't understand why people have turned on Nicko in the way they have over a cleverly written match report. I suspect some have become overly jealous of his popularity on this messageboard and look for any excuse to have a go.
