N0 thanks - another bedspace taken up - not his fault though.

all of a sudden we hate benni? what on earth did he do?

It's what he hasn't been doing for over a year - making an effort.

What has Ince done well? He's brought in a potentially top keeper, I'd love to see people suggest a few alternatives with Robinson's combination of ability, experience and for just 3.5 million.

I'm not entirely buying that one Dirk. Is there only myself that see's that relatively low fee and Spurs willingness to drop about 3m as all part of the Bentley package in an obvious attempt to deny Arsenal as much money as possible without drawing too much attention to our actions? They wanted 6-7m remember and eventually capitulated without a whimper.

I think we should thank Nicko for letting everyone know he was going off radar today. It has allowed discussion NOT peppered with "who has offended him" or "come back Nicko" or the dreaded "let's start a Facebook petition to get him back". We're all calm- he hasn't been hit by a bus. All is well with the world.

Now I wish he would come back and give us good news!!!

That could only happen if you woke up after a deep sleep and Mark Hughes was coming out of the shower towelling his hair! :)

Just read the quote "Tugay told me" I bet his friends well happy Benni grassed him up!

Maybe Tugay was working to JW's instruction? ;)

From that article........

Julio said: “Sometimes people say ‘Oh, you are Roque’s brother’. I hope now people know me for who I am.”

Sorry Julio............... Obviously the penny's not quite dropped with Buryrover yet. :rover:

Benni.

Could it just be a case of his work rate for the team, and is not mobile enough for the way Ince wants the team to play.

Playing one up top, if Roque is out we ,are a bit thin in the lone striker department.

Most of our front men are more suited to 4-4-2.

Benni could play up front in a 4-5-1 so long as the wingers were good and the man just in behind got forward a lot. If Villanueva or Dunn prove to be effective in that role then Benni can manage. He is good at running the line and being high up the pitch and can also hold the ball up well and bring others into play. He'd be different to Roque, but it could still work depending on the other pieces.

Do you mean he gets offside a lot

SABLE - Doing ok in games and training.

ANNAN - Doing well in training.

Decision time on both soon.

ROQUE 2 - Thanks to the PMer for the tip on that, sadly could not find out anything about him before the story broke. Good idea to bring the kid in for company - not sure he is good enough.

BENNI AND GALATASARAY - No idea, but possible.

PENNANT - Liverpool want to sell, you might have to watch this space.

MAN CITY PROBLEMS - Told you.
