Guest Kamy100 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 It looks like FIFA 09 is going to improve upon the excellent FIFA 08. The site below is an excellent source of FIFA related information: Fifa Soccer Blog
Guest Kamy100 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Lots of images of FIFA 09: http://depositfiles.com/en/files/6886247
Cocker Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Lots of images of FIFA 09: http://depositfiles.com/en/files/6886247 Those pictures look excellent. I thought that they were just going to be a load of cinematics but those in game shots look really good.
Guest Kamy100 Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Yup impressed by the ingame shots and it is really looking like FIFA is going to be good again. I hope that PES is also good so that we have 2 good games on the market.

They are the only games that last me a full year before the next comes out.

Hughesy Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 1st vid looks very similar to this years. 2nd ones dont work
Clitherover Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 I got UEFA 2008 (which was the latest in the FIFA series) for the PS3, had a few go's and thought it was a load of s**t, mind you Pro Evo 2008 was a rushed job and was also lame. Not sure how either of these titles played on the 360 though could have just been the PS3. My guess is when Pro Evo 2009 hits the shelves it'll be number one again, always preferred em over the FIFA series in the past.
American Rover12 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 If fifa 09 is using the same style controls that they showed in the Euro game then I think it'll be an absolute blast. Very excited to play it. If ProEvo wants to maintain face they better get back to whatever they were doing before 08
Hughesy Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Fifa has well and truly overtaken - cant beat the official kits & players either for me.
Ninja Boi Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 I recently got Fifa 07 for my psp and am totally addicted. Also have Fifa 08 for the pc. Can anyone tell me if theres much difference on the psp between 07 and 08? or should I just wait and buy 09?
American Rover12 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Sounds like a keen idea, interesting to see how accurate it will be. I won't know though, because I won't pay for em.

Hughesy Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Could be crap though if they rate the big teams more than the lower teams. It could make the game even more uneven
Cocker Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Could be crap though if they rate the big teams more than the lower teams. It could make the game even more uneven I was thinking the same thing. They say that they will do all of the teams but I reckon most of it will be made up. Just like when we have Stephen Reid with a big porn star mustache every season and he dosent have one.
Guest Kamy100 Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Demo for this is out this coming Thursday (11th September) on PSN and Xbox Live.
Cocker Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Demo for this is out this coming Thursday (11th September) on PSN and Xbox Live. Not for me its not. My broadband connection died yesterday and the Telco are not going to get an engineer to look at it until tomorrow - at the earliest Reports please from those that do get to play it
Guest Kamy100 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Excellent game. It has built upon the excellent FIFA 08. Much more responsive and gameplay has come on leaps and bounds. Love the collasion system and matches actually feel very realistic. Well Done EA and PES is going to have to go some to beat FIFA this year.
Guest Kamy100 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 For those wanting to download from PSN, unfortunately no European Update due to technical problems, however all is not lost as you can download the demo from the US Store, you will need to create a account with a US address (use any address from google).
Cocker Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Damm it. My Broadband provider tell me today that at the earliest they arent going to get round to looking at my problem until next Monday/Tuesday so no Fifa Demo for me. The game will be out before I get back online
