den Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Is it not equally the case that Dunn has the support of Grella and Andrews around him, thus absolving him of having to trundle back? The problem we have had for ages now is that we do not possess any central midfielders who are good enough in a 4-4-2 against a semi-decent team; they all need 4-5-1. If you are trying to say that Andrews was as good as Dunn, or they all played as well as each other in midfield, you're wrong EIT. I'm not saying KA was crap, because he did OK. I'm just saying the other midfielders were ahead of him yesterday - IMO.

All he's saying is it's a team game and all the players in the team are meant to complement each other. It's not really a case of who's better or who's worse, it's whether or not they can do their job and support the other players.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I'm not saying KA was crap, because he did OK. Are you feeling all right Den?
den Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Are you feeling all right Den? Yep. Much more positive after yesterday's performance.
Ricky Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 The Sunday Mirror gave Keef a 9/10 and MOM for yesterdays performance so I'm guessing he did ok.
S15 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 The Sunday Mirror gave Keef a 9/10 and MOM for yesterdays performance so I'm guessing he did ok. I saw that. I have often questioned certain 'Red tops' appearances at some of our games, and for the Mirror to suggest he was the best player on the pitch yesterday certainly re arises that suspicion.

Raises the suspicion that the reporter spent all the match yesterday in the bar and on the p1ss.
philipl Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Perhaps jonnolad is journolad at the Mirrrr?
sambo Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I met Jonno yesterday. Nice fella. How I long to have a photo with King Keith Bet he's a proper good bloke!
T4E Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I couldn't help myself but ask when I saw him. He was pretty happy to oblige, can't fault him there. As Bellamy11 remarked afterwards "If only he knew everything you've said about him."

Ozz Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Neil/Keith-you look like conjoined twins. Arf Arf.
S15 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Toogs, why the frig did you not take one for the team and give him an Andy Todd handshake whilst you had the chance?
steven Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I met Jonno yesterday. Nice fella. Where is your right hand mate?
tcj_jones Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 They're actually holding hands, Steven, for you see, our Neil has a big old man-crush on his Keithy-pie. I always thought he was overly critical on here and over-compensating for something! You should have got the photo and then told him it was really just for a dare and that you think he's ######!
Ewood Spark Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Jonnolad, keep up the good fight ... you clearly have Rovers best interests at heart. I find it staggering that so many so called fans would actually boo somebody who clearly gives his all for our team ... how the hell is that going to help anybody. And just for the record Sam DOES rate him ... and said as much at the 'Audience with Sam' event at Ewood. Was the question ''Do you rate that shithead who plays centre mid for us?'' I'll let you answer that ... You have an obvious agenda, and it's lead solely by hatred for an individual, an individual you've never met, which does nothing but show your knowledge of football to be very limited, and also shows that your general human principles make you a bit of a w*nker.
Ste B Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I met Jonno yesterday. Nice fella. Is it just me or does he looks seriously surprised that somebody wanted a picture with him ? Nice Suit BTW Tugs.
Exiled in Toronto Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 All he's saying is it's a team game and all the players in the team are meant to complement each other. It's not really a case of who's better or who's worse, it's whether or not they can do their job and support the other players. Indeed. I noticed on watching the full game today that Keith got several rounds of applause for tackles, interceptions and his shots - drowning out jim mkII's robust rollickings. It seems, as usual, that the bulk of the Ewood crowd do not share the views of the seriel posters on here. His best performance by a mile so far. I don't buy this 'it was only Wolves' comment to belittle his input by some - what was Pedersen's excuse?
neekoy Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I met Jonno yesterday. Nice fella. Good photo I love it when people lean into the centre of shot when it is almost panoramic
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 T4E looks like Santa. You money grabbing _____.
alexanders Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 KA might work in a w5 in the middle, consisting of: Diouf - Andrews - Grella - Dunn - Pedersen That way he can run around as a headless chicken and chip in with the odd goal. He has the ability to score near 10 goals a season from midfield position. I should be the manager.
den Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I don't buy this 'it was only Wolves' comment to belittle his input by some - what was Pedersen's excuse? Why not? It's a hell of a lot easier to play well against a weakened, very poor Wolves midfield, than it is against say, Chelsea. It does make a difference unless it's a matter of defending the obvious. Oh and I thought Pedersen did well on Saturday.

You got me.............and to answer the other poster, my right hand is the reason for the uncomfortable smirk Keef has on his face. T4E looks like Santa. You money grabbing _____. If you mean Cruz, you're not the first person to say (or abuse me for) it. If you mean Claus, you are.
