Everyone keep an eye on the cycling - The battles b/w Eng and Aus will be very good. Mark Cavendish (England) is one to watch in particular especially for the time trial and the road race.

Domination of the swimming will be down to the Yanks and the Skips. I'll be vey surprised if England dominates these events.

I agree the pollution is very bad. Most levels are seven times allowable standards and thats actually in the Cube!! China says its fog! :lol: Idiots! :angry:

oh, I got my British passport earlier this year!

This Argentina line-up is very impressive.. One of the Australians doesn't even have a club!

Fist goal for Argentina is just a matter of time now. Messi is playing very well.

good job by cook, the welsh news are having a field day.

very unlucky in the archery not to get a medal and the swimming has been amazing so far.

watching the ladies hockey, we are playing germany and losing 2-1! good game though considering the weather conditions.

Watched the opening ceremonies on DVR and loved it.

Men's soccer looked great against the Netherlands (except the first half hour), unlucky not to win it.

I`ve been watching the gymnastics over the weekend too....it`s not as hard as they make it out to be! I`ve been doing that pommel thing for years....every time i get the ironing board out i have a quick shufty on it.

.....& the girlfriend does all that floor exercise stuff whilst pushing the hoover around.

It`s a piece of p155 i tell thee! ;)

Phelps is still on for 8 gold too, what a relay race that was!

That was an amazing finish in the men's 4x100m. I wasn't sure if the US were going to do it, then Lezak finishes as strong as anyone could finish.

Murray soundly beaten by #77th place Lu.

He didn't seem to care either.

To be fair to him he's just come from back-to-back master series in America and probably isn't in the right state of mind. That and the humid conditions plus Lu who I thought played some decent tennis at times, still pretty embrassing to get knocked out in the first round to an unknown.

Murrary was embarrasing today, he did not seem to care as well which was the annoying thing. If he was not bothered about playing in the Olympics he should have not gone in the 1st place. Typical Scot letting the Uk down again!!!!!

Am I allowed to say that I haven't watched any of the Olympic games & I don't intend to? Over-hyped rubbish commercialised by cola & burgers, nationalistic & political point-scoring in one of the worlds most repressive and polluted countries.

It will only get worse in 2012
