huh? Is that not what we wanted but Castillo said no? Obviously Juventus and co did not come knocking and he has ended up at Everton!

Quick question: Would anyone be at all bothered if Benni left right now.

He has been given plenty of chances upfront to change matches in the last few months and has not taken his chance, where as putting Carlos and Derbs upfront (granted against lesser oposition) has been explosive.

If we can sell Benni now and bring in Olic and a good right midfielder, i would be ecstatic and it would dull the pain of the Andrews signing to a certain extent.

Can i just add also, very impressed with Tom Newey of Grimsby...

Bur feel pain about Andrews? Dont they play at the same level? Give Andrews a chance has hasnt even kicked a ball for us yet at least reserve judgement till you have seen him play.

RIGHT WINGERS - SWP being offered big money by Man City but their 'financial saviour' deal with the Arabs is not done yet...so that might not be over the line.

I wish I could keep coming without actually coming for as long as he has.

This humble pie is going to be the stalest, mouldiest ever. How many times now have you mentioned him in this thread, over what seems like months??? I cannot understand why what is a bit-part purchase has got so much airtime. We, as in little old Blackburn, have signed a 42-cap England goalie, a Serie A regular, Chile's player of the year and one of Fergie's brightest prospects, yet every other post is about a squad-filler costing buttons (relatively speaking). He has had more airtime on this thread than the rest of our more relevant signings put together.

Put me down for a slice by all means, but talk about mountains and molehills....
