Sorry, I may be in the minority here, but I really feel he would be a horrendous signing for Rovers. £5m? £50,000 a week? No thank you. It speaks volumes about the guy that he's willing to warm the bench at a "big" club rather than play football for a living. Not the sort we want at Blackburn.

So we had a meeting this morning to decide which right-wing target to go for... I have a question - WHY WAIT UNTIL TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY TO DISCUSS THIS??

1. Hang on, I said that he has described himself as an attacking midfield player, like Cahill. Nicko said that he is the right sided player that we are looking at based on Holman's recent performance Vs South Africa- we can assume that was on the right wing otherwise Rovers management have clearly lost the plot! Acutally, if you check the postings, you do refer to him as a right winger too.. see below. I have also provided many links that verify him as a striker from his profile (although I did conceed that he can play AM)

I did not say Van Gaal is developing him, I said Van Gaal is good at developing talent which means that he is good at talent spotting (can you see a clear link with what you are doing with my quotes, maybe if you read the whole post without putting your own 'spin' on things you would not have to make up things up). You stated he was a emerging talent that could be developed by LVG.. If LVG is shifting him, why not develop him? why get rid of a player you have just signed, to fill a defender shortage? Bear in mind LVG sold his defenders, so he know what he was doing..

IF YOU READ THE QUOTE THE ONLY DESCRIPTIVE SECTION SHOWS HOLMAN IN A POSITIVE LIGHT "VAGUELY TALENTED", CAN DO SOMETHING IF GIVEN LOTS OF SPACE.

If we dont sign anyone for the right sided position then this is a major setback for the club.

We have let Bentley go without signing a replacement, a massive error.

The only thing I can think of is that Lopez, on trial at the club may be given a temporary contract as he is on a free.

Well, I know you lot hate it when we do this but if Blackburn aren't signing anyone in Nickos opinion...

Nicko, are Villa finished up this window or are we going to get the striker the fans feel we need. I heard the odd bit about Ashton which I am not really sure on and Doyle which seemed more likely, and some loan stuff. I know MON leaves it late so basically just wondering are the lights off and everyone gone home from Villa Park...or will MON and Lerner be working until midnight.

Ramblings? That is an interesting take when I have cut through the drivel that you have written about what I was supposed to have said!

I dont need support, I made a point about Holman but you seem to have had a real personal issue with it.

He is not coming so you can pop a pill and chill.

Hopefully we dont sign any more Aussies that way this issue wont hopefully arise, :P
