I think we should stick with what we've got. Things tend to get a bit desperate on the last day. Some of the silly prices being paid for very average players baffles me.

All this "lets not panic buy" stuff is complete folly.

We've had months to get this stuff done, to leave it to the last day and then do nothing because prices have been driven up due to the lateness is just complete bullshit.

this transfer window has been shambolic for us. Sort it out rovers. Aint got high hopes for this season if we dont even have a competant right winger. Im sure opposition fullbacks will be shaking with fear at Emerton hurtling towards them.

I'm going to guess that may be a little melodramatic but what do any of us know. As for not enough time to bring in a foreign player, who knows for a fact that Rovers haven't been discussing terms with a player all day? What we do know is that JW and the rest of the staff at Ewood under Hughes were the best in the business about keeping secrets until the deal was done and there's little reason to suspect this has changed over the summer. Lets wait and see before jumping to conclusions. Of course I too will be very worried if we do not sign a decent winger by midnight (Pennant would definitely improve our situation but I hope we can get better).
