nicko Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Nicko, will you reveal the mystery striker tonight? Or is it too early yet? I have had a report that the guy is flying in to talks to the other club, but he is due to come to Blackburn if this option does not work out. Should know more later, but there are a few agents and time zones to sort out first...

Should know more later, but there are a few agents and time zones to sort out first... when you say time zones to sort out i presume this striker is further afield than europe. If he was in europe it wouldnt be a big deal as there isnt really much difference in time. Does that make sense?
USA Rover Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 maurice edu?????? He is a holding mid not a striker.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Reidy has gotten himself a knock in training with NI. These games are not exactly organised at the best of times, are they?
LeChuck Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Is the Annan deal completely dead in the water now Nicko? It seems to have gone quiet on all fronts with him, even with other clubs.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Come on Nicko, it's Arshavin isn't it? No wait, it's Kaka. Come on, you can come clean now. We won't tell anybody. **just in case it gets taken seriously **
Eddie Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Reidy has gotten himself a knock in training with NI. These games are not exactly organised at the best of times, are they? traitor
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Yeah yeah, I just realised. Republic*
DanLad Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Reidy has gotten himself a knock in training with NI. These games are not exactly organised at the best of times, are they? They're bloody awful if Reidy's training with Northern Ireland!?! Edit - Dammit, you recovered just in time! ;-)
Exiled_Rover Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 traitor To who though, England or Ireland.
Veevs Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 when you say time zones to sort out i presume this striker is further afield than europe. If he was in europe it wouldnt be a big deal as there isnt really much difference in time. Does that make sense? Could be agent is abroad.. certainly seems to rule out the euro strikers.. but makes a few SA strikers look interesting (Love and Adriano being top of my list of possibles.. both have SA agents both available).
nicko Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Is the Annan deal completely dead in the water now Nicko? It seems to have gone quiet on all fronts with him, even with other clubs. Racing Santander were offering the most money, but wanted him to be pulled out of the European game. Now I hear they have signed someone else. Arsenal and Blackburn could offer less now and maybe get their man...but both seem to have backed off for some reason. Maybe he wasnt so great in the last couple of games after all. At the asking price it can't be a hard deal to do. If you want to.
ScottishRover Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Could be agent is abroad.. certainly seems to rule out the euro strikers.. but makes a few SA strikers look interesting (Love and Adriano being top of my list of possibles.. both have SA agents both available). I was thinking Adriano myself.
nicko Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I was thinking Adriano myself. Nobody quite that glamourous...or chunky.
LDRover Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 So there we have it, Carlos puts it up the Wrexham on a Tuesday afternoon.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I'm leaning towards South America as well, Ince has proved with Villanueva that he isn't afraid to delve down there. (Innuendo not intentional). Adriano would fit. Love would fit. But I just can't see either of them.
ScottishRover Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Nobody quite that glamourous...or chunky. Am I right with them not being in Europe ????
Rainmaker Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Nobody quite that glamourous...or chunky. That rules out the tranny-loving chunkster Ronaldo then...
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Nobody quite that glamourous...or chunky. That narrows it down to just about everybody else on the planet bar Frank Lampard.
nicko Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Just heard Henning Berg is the new boss of Lillestroem...taking over from Fjortoft. Can our Norwegian chums confirm?
Veevs Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Nobody quite that glamourous...or chunky. He aint that chunky now mate... got his life sorted out with his loan to SA.. Doubt it as a possible though.. his wage bill would probably scare the bejesus out of us. Your going to leave us guessing until 11pm you evil evil person lol
socngill Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 That narrows it down to just about everybody else on the planet bar Frank Lampard. Poor old fat frank Love would be good. He's supposed to be going to Everton which would fit (if I have read the comments on here properly...)
