nicko Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Hey Nicko any news on Spurs and ARshavin. If they dont get him in do you think its likely thell head for Roque. with or without Berbatov. fingers crossed it will go through Spurs still want Arshavin. Once they get him I take it Berbatov goes to Man U. That one is currently putting me to sleep.
Torgeir Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Could be another Russian hero of mine; Pavel Pogrebnyak? He had a meniscus injury during the EURO's but is a top striker. Hope all the 11 O-clockers from now on until Sept 1 are as good as last night's.
my_name_is_Earl Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Oscar Cardozo possibly? Fits all of the criteria that has been ruled in/out I think....
Majiball Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Rafeal Sobis - Betis, quick can play wide if needed in a different time zone, available Betis recieved a 10M euro bid in july don't know if rejected or who from. Brazil out of Olympics so he's now able to fly around??? Could he be the one?
67splitscreen Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Oh yes, I completely forgot his assets are frozen. Silly me. Hum!, Sarcasm, I was not trying to make out that you did not know about his assets, just the timing of events.
nicko Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 There may be some Silvestre drama. NOT involving Rovers before we get a stress fest.
modes98 Posted August 19, 2008 Author Posted August 19, 2008 which will probably mean Corluka being sold to Tottenham for a big fee...and ending their little dispute...and possibly meaning Dinamo Zagreb get their second installment for Corluka.. So this is Mark Hughes putting his foot firmly down and making sure that his best players stay then! I assume Corluka has played for Man City in Europe since Spurs signed him and then didn't sign him, so it may not be the end of it all. Spurs may want a lower price, unless he was always european cup tied.
LeChuck Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Hum!, Sarcasm, I was not trying to make out that you did not know about his assets, just the timing of events. Sorry, it wasn't meant to sound sarcastic, I edited that smiley in to try and stop it looking so. I failed, obviously. I genuinely forgot all his assets were frozen for the duration of writing that post.
BRFC4EVA Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Questions - What is Gaditano and what is Port of Santa Maria? With regards to the second half of the question, that is simply a poor translation of Jaoquin's hometown of El Puerto de Santa María a delightful place not too far away from Seville in Southern Spain.
nicko Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Silvestre is off to Sunderland isn't he? Could be...
callumrovers Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Rovers should make an offer, he would give us the quality in defence we need, and then we can push on forward!

Thanks. El Puerto de Santa María......... Sounds much nicer than Blackburn - Darwen, or even Leyland. What a boring, dreary country we live in. Don't blame him for staying there.
Sandiway Blue Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Rovers should make an offer, he would give us the quality in defence we need, and then we can push on forward! In all honesty he isn`t that good and i don`t think he would get in our first team.

den Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Rovers look at Lopez. Skysports.com understands Blackburn have handed a trial to Real Mallorca midfielder Jordi Lopez.
nicko Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Rovers look at Lopez. Skysports.com understands Blackburn have handed a trial to Real Mallorca midfielder Jordi Lopez. Checking...but not the best CV...27 and only made about 70 first-team appearances.
callumrovers Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Everytime ive seen him ive been impressed, but i suppose i havent seen him enough to make a desicion
67splitscreen Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I can't remember when there has been so much media speculation, with regard Rovers possible signings. That's about six in, and two out today Glad I don't have Nicko's phone bill, (skype maybe)
LeChuck Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Why is Ince rooting around the bottom of the bargain basement bin? We don't need squad players, we need genuine quality to improve the first eleven. There should be plenty of money available, use it!

Why go to Herrods, If Clitheroe car boot has what you need, with a bit of spit and polish it will look just as good
Sandiway Blue Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Why go to Herrods, If Clitheroe car boot has what you need, with a bit of spit and polish it will look just as good Is that anywhere near Harrods by any chance?
