Hey Nicko any news on Spurs and ARshavin. If they dont get him in do you think its likely thell head for Roque. with or without Berbatov. fingers crossed it will go through

Spurs still want Arshavin. Once they get him I take it Berbatov goes to Man U.

That one is currently putting me to sleep.

Could be another Russian hero of mine; Pavel Pogrebnyak? He had a meniscus injury during the EURO's but is a top striker.

Hope all the 11 O-clockers from now on until Sept 1 are as good as last night's.

which will probably mean Corluka being sold to Tottenham for a big fee...and ending their little dispute...and possibly meaning Dinamo Zagreb get their second installment for Corluka..

So this is Mark Hughes putting his foot firmly down and making sure that his best players stay then!

I assume Corluka has played for Man City in Europe since Spurs signed him and then didn't sign him, so it may not be the end of it all. Spurs may want a lower price, unless he was always european cup tied.

Sorry, it wasn't meant to sound sarcastic, I edited that smiley in to try and stop it looking so. I failed, obviously. :)

I genuinely forgot all his assets were frozen for the duration of writing that post.

With regards to the second half of the question, that is simply a poor translation of Jaoquin's hometown of El Puerto de Santa María a delightful place not too far away from Seville in Southern Spain.

El Puerto de Santa María......... Sounds much nicer than Blackburn - Darwen, or even Leyland. What a boring, dreary country we live in. Don't blame him for staying there.

Rovers should make an offer, he would give us the quality in defence we need, and then we can push on forward!

In all honesty he isn`t that good and i don`t think he would get in our first team.

Why is Ince rooting around the bottom of the bargain basement bin? We don't need squad players, we need genuine quality to improve the first eleven. There should be plenty of money available, use it!
