Pompey have no money and are now having to sell players, Mendez went last week, Muntari the week before, whose this week ?

Redknapp knows he can only bring loan players in now they are all spent up. :)

Harry knew he had to sell some players if he wanted to bring in Crouch and Defoe. If we wanted to bring in a RM we had to sell Bentley, granted, it wasn't exactlyn planned, whats the difference...?

According to a few Poles down here in Southamptonski (1 in 10 of us Sotonians are Polish!) Jakub Blaszczykowski has been hinting at a move to Liverpool. As he is a right sided midfielder, this could be the final shove Pennant needs to leave Anfield.

Unfortunately for us this bad apple could be on his way to Ewood Park.

From what i've read about Jakub Blaszczykowski. Every shirt sold with his name on the back nets his club half a million pounds from lettering costs. :lol:

Be a better idea to buy the Polish lad; should boost attendances-already had a strong Polish contingent in the area even before they joined the EU and the old 'economic migration' bandwagon set off & created a sub-market for Eastern European delis.

Then we could crack open the Polish spirit-evil stuff that it is.

When Southampton had a couple of Poles playing for them (Kamil Kosowski and Tomasz Hajto) the Polish fans were at St Mary's in pretty good numbers to support them. When they left Saints, so did the Poles! So it ain't that bad an idea really! When Rupert Lowe was pulling the strings when Saints got relegated....everyone left! :lol:

My point was that if he turned us down because he wants CL football then he's not going to join your lot, is he?

As for getting info out of Nicko, lets just say his info regarding Newcastle is often wide of the mark, although he quite clearly knows his stuff regarding Blackburn.

Alan, don't know if this is of any help. But i just found out a scout from an English club was at a French game today, and i know who he was watching, and the player in question is a Right Midfielder...

We didnt have to sell Bentley to bring in a RM we have Emerton and Reid, Harry thought he'd have more to spend than what he originally thought sounds familiar to a few other managers in the prem Hughes, Moyes, Benetez etc.,

Oh well, the player i was told about is Lille midfielder Ludovic Obraniak, however i believe he didnt play todays match through injury or something. I just checked...

Edit: He might have even been at the Olympics? Starting to wonder about the validity of my soon to be ex buddy's claims... ^_^

Double Edit: Must have missed his name the first time around reading the review... Cool beans...

Tripple Edit (sorry!!): Says he played left wing on SkySports. Now very very confused... Could be a utility midfielder i suppose!?

The very best a Polish footballer could acheive is championship level at best, the Euros showed them up just like the world cup did two years prior.

Rovers need to keep well away if we are to maintain our premiership aspirations.

The kid is fresh out of South America and has never played in Europe. It would not have been the wisest decision ever to stick him in yesterday. Needs a bit of time to adapt and settle in.

Rem 7 subs now Creosote. Surely he should have been available for his Prem 'blooding' should we have been 3 or more up with 10 mins to play?

There are two problems with Pennant. The price and the fact that he likes being a Liverpool player.

Unfortunately for him the feeling does not appear to be mutual.
