No no you're right.

We could never use £5m to find somebody else to come on and run around perilessly for 20 minutes every other Saturday.

Derbyshire will never make the grade at this level, so we should sell while he has the value of youth. An opportunity we missed with wee Gallagher.

I agree. Would have been nice if Derbyshire could have made the grade with us, local lad etc but he isnt good enough and I think people want him to succeed so much they let it cloud their judgement. Better to cash in now while he still has a bit of a reputation as a young upcoming player.

Segundo Castillo absent for Red Star today in the Champions League. Heard yesterday he was talking to 2 teams in the Premier League thought to be Stoke and Wigan.

Did Nicko say their would be a 11o'clocker tonight?

its a 12 o'clocker tonight

Reading some people on here I cant believe they think Matt Derbyshire will not make it in the Prem. Absolutely ridiculous, he is our 3rd best striker (behing Rock and JR). Would rather have a young lad who tries than a lazy unsettled Mr McCarthy!!

Oh look....Derbyshire has scored

Everton signing Segundo Castillo...that should be interesting.

Very much so. Sounds like they're beyond desperate (not a reflection on Castillo as such, just he's been there for the taking all Summer). Not even a trial?

Thought you were taking in a game tonight?

There's plenty of deadwood to get rid of before our home boy who would do anything for club. I think he has been harshly treated espcially with the likes of Fowler being offered contracts.

Super carlos :D

Totally agree Bedlum. He has too often been hung out to dry on the right wing. Should use him more frequently than the ageing McCarthy. The like of Gallagher, Mokoena, Vogel, and Rigters should be got rid of first (especially if Andrews signsis)

Is there an 11 o Clocker tonight Nicko???

Against third rate oposition. I wont argue with that Benni should go before Derbs buts due to attitude alone. Benni IS a much better player, when he can be arsed. If an offer of 4 million comes in for derbs then I'd sell as he is not and wont ever be premiership class.

At Liverpool, but the phone still rings.

I would take a look at some of these Standard Liege kids. Quality.
