DanLad Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 1st RSC, now Grella. Glad his family were not there! Maybe it will of woken him up and turn him into a nutcase on the pitch?! Well we can all hope!! I don't think Grella is scared of putting himself about, from what I've seen. Just seems to lack pace (sharpness?) to get himself in a position to put himself about. This robbery incident is shocking and I hope that Vince is OK.

philipl Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Really bad for Vince- hope he's OK. Police had better nab this mob soon. It is difficult enough getting players to come to the north west without those reprobates terrorising them.

joey_big_nose Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Hope it fires him up! Sorry to hear it.... Huge game for Vince tomorrow. He will play some part I think, maybe even start. I am praying he makes the adjustment to the pace of the Premiership to show his ability. It will transform the team if he does.
Sparky Marky Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Thanks Feck for that....Grella is a championship player at best......sell him back to the slow motion league that is Serie A....he'll have the time to control the ball there..
joey_big_nose Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Somehow dont think Sam rates Vince at all. I'm pretty sure Sam does if he is fit. Which is rare...
LeftWinger Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I read this story on bbc ceefax. I had to laugh when it said he 'escaped the attack uninjured '. The irony!
S15 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 God help those thieves if they try and rob Salgado. Read between the lines... Salgado wants Grellas' car, Grella wants to avoid public humiliation... That wasn't four men Vince....
KoNG Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Vince off with a grimace... 15 minutes into the friendly game against the dutch....! He looked concerned I would say..... Edit: knock to the thigh is the sideline info

Edit: knock to the thigh is the sideline info Little knocks still to sideline for three to four weeks though!
Blue blood Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Well he's lasted longer than I expected. Will give a bit longer to judge, but it doesn't help him shake off the injury prone tag. It's a shame because if he cannot be relied upon for his fitness that's another midfielder we need. I've been quietly impressed with what he's done this season, and is a step up from the likes of Andrews.
jonv Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Of concern, though, to coach Pim Verbeek was a thigh problem which forced Vince Grella off after just 15 minutes.
philipl Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Grella's injury means he is out of Wednesday's game in Melbourne.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 The bigger question is will he be ready for Sunday? He could be the man to stop the Dingles scoring any more bloody screamers from the centre.
Amo Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 The bigger question is will he be ready for Sunday? He could be the man to stop the Dingles scoring any more bloody screamers from the centre. God, I hope so, otherwise Andy Pandy will be playing.
broadsword Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Can we take him back to the shop and get our money back 'cos he is busticated.
sambo Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 The bigger question is will he be ready for Sunday? He could be the man to stop the Dingles scoring any more bloody screamers from the centre. Cough Blake... well predicted! His injuries infuriate me, not his fault but he's so unreliable.
bubblerrovers Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I fail to believe he's been like this since he signed for Rovers, Did he not have a medical, it's a shambles

joey_big_nose Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Can we take him back to the shop and get our money back 'cos he is busticated. I am wodering which is a worse buy out of Andrews (who is rubbish but always fit and only cost 1m) or Grella (who is okay/good but only has managed about 30% of games since he joined, and cost 4m).... Two signings that perhaps more than anything else have ended us up where we are. If we had got two deent fit CMs (a la NZonzi) I think we would be lauhing. Hope this Algerian kid is the business....

When they put him togther down at the rehabilitation centre, they lost a couple of his washers. He's now held together with gaffer tape and a couple of half-chewed blackjacks. I honestly think he should be re-paying some of his wages. I hope he's blinking embarrassed by the rate at whioch he's got injured.
T4E Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Did you only just get it, T4E? Yeah I'm a little slow
