sam_rovers Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 If he wasn't so injury prone I'd class him as the only decent signing Ince made.. Though the real question is wasn't he given a medical before we signed him???
broadsword Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Good news! he's out of the treatment room!
CrazyIvan Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Good news! he's out of the treatment room! He played 78 mins tonight according to Rovers web site.
mellison24 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Is he staying in the ice bath overnight? Cotton wool and bubble wrap I should hope!
G Somerset Rover Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Vince is next up in our 'Ewood E-males' matchday magazine: Ask Vince I have a few that I'd like answering: 1) Do you ever intend to play 2 games on the trot? 2) WTF do you do all day? 3) Who is better mates with the physio? You or Dunny? 4) Did you not get enough school milk back in Australia?
John Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Do you call the treatment table your second home?
The Rover of Finland Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Do you call the treatment table your second home? Have you ever played two games in row?
beerwins Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Have you ever eaten a Kangaroo's testicle?
broadsword Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Good news! he's out of the treatment room! well, i thoght it was funny
roversmum Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Hope they have reserved a place there for him...
neekoy Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 I say just hold off, he will have a cracker World Cup and the usual post WC favourites will be hanging around to snap him up.
ada2020 Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Hope they have reserved a place there for him... He has his own treatment table in there anyway...
LeftWinger Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Just looked up a few stats from Grella’s time here. On the 26th of February – he’ll have been at the club 18 months. In that time he’s managed 90 minutes fifteen times in the Premier League (possibly more than I expected). Of those 15 games, we’ve won 3, drawn 6 and lost 6, scoring 14 times and conceding 22 in the process. Interestingly, we’ve failed to score in 6 of the last 7 Premier League games where Vince has played 90 minutes – Chelsea (A), West Ham (H), Wolves (H), Everton (A), Fulham (A), Liverpool (H), Spurs (H).
roversmum Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Hm. Not terribly impressive. Perhaps someone should trip him up on the way in from the car park, just in case...

He has started more games than I thought.... more relevant stat, perhaps, could be the goals conceded when he has played?
JAL Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Fully expect Big Sam to offload the brittle boned Aussie and Keef this summer before I purchase my next season ticket. Go on Vince have a great world cup, then dont use that word again but I will OFF !
den Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 His last game was against Liverpool on the 5th December. He took a swipe at a cross late in the game, missed it completely and damaged his thigh - 9 weeks and 4 days ago, missing 14 games. Yep, 14 games. Hope he doesn't try to kick the ball again on Sunday.
John Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Sure at the time when he last got injured, mid-December I think it was, we were told he would only be out for 2/3 weeks.
Amo Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Did he have a history of injuries before he came here?
BuckyRover Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Yes. Somebody on here mentioned it when we signed him.
LeChuck Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Sure at the time when he last got injured, mid-December I think it was, we were told he would only be out for 2/3 weeks. I'm not sure why but the club seem to be pretending players are less injured than they, this has only started happening recently. The only reason I can think of is so that we can possibly keep the opposition guessing about our line-up a bit more.
