thenodrog Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 He is a 'setback' pay up his contract and ship him out. Why don't you? Grella is a proper glass back whom I fear is simply playing the system in the most callous, mercenary and cynical way possible. Problem is with Jones injured and N'Zonzi abducted by aliens (or worse) we bloody well need him!

Paul Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Grella is a proper glass back whom I fear is simply playing the system in the most callous, mercenary and cynical way possible. Problem is with Jones injured and N'Zonzi abducted by aliens (or worse) we bloody well need him! Inclined to agree with this though I'm not sure any professional really wants to sit around injured all the time. For Rovers the problem is Grella has been a complete waste of money and not very good when fit. I'd love to understand how we managed to spend so much on buying him? Was he an Allardyce purchase? How did we manage to buy a player so badly crocked as this one?
Backroom DE. Posted January 4, 2011 Backroom Posted January 4, 2011 Was he an Allardyce purchase? Shockingly enough he's part of the legacy Paul Ince left us.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Paul Ince's marquee signing !!!!!!!!!!
onlyoneDuff Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Four million for this sicknote and yest people bang on about Andrews being the poorer signing...
John Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Did not realise he was injured ahead of the Fulham game....only a "knock" though apparently.
broadsword Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Inclined to agree with this though I'm not sure any professional really wants to sit around injured all the time. Are you forgetting Winston Beauregard at Chelsea?
thenodrog Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Inclined to agree with this though I'm not sure any professional really wants to sit around injured all the time. Mick Rathbone will tell you different.

Ferrit Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I'd prefer to see him sidelined than watch his utterly pump performances on the pitch.
Billy Castell Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Blackburn ace Grella shows his true colours. Following the example of Robbie Savage when he signed for Derby, Blackburn Rovers midfielder Vincenzo Grella has purchased a vehicle in his team's colours to show his loyalty and dedication to his team. 'Vince' splashed out £9,000 on the top-of-the-range Granmaster Flash 3000, which has a top speed of 16 mph, a very comfortable chair and a basket to pick up parts of his legs should they fall off. The Australian international is said to be 'dead chuffed' with his new purchase, and there are rumours of El-Hadji Diouf ordering a specially made chromed model for £230,000 complete with unique alloys.
onlyoneDuff Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Does it have spinners too? No wonder he wouldn't agree to take a small pay cut in order to go to Gala last summer (and for us to receive a fee....
rebelmswar Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Who is he? I think he is a trainee from Jamaca or wasn't he the guy from Pulp Fiction who got shot after taking a crap? No that was his cousin.... I think.
John Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Out for the rest of this season following operation on his achilles.
heysham rover Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 If he were a horse he's have been sold for glue by now
mark1875 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Out for the rest of this season of the season following operation on his achilles. can't find this anywhere u gotta link pal?
G Somerset Rover Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Out for the rest of this season of the season following operation on his achilles. Dear God. Hardly a surprise but he just takes the p!ss more and more. Pound for pound he has got to be our worst signing since 2000 surely? Especially as we never spent £4 million fees in the Hughes/post Hughes era on other players unless I've missed one.
Alex Rover Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 can't find this anywhere u gotta link pal? It was announced via the official text service.
mark1875 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 It was announced via the official text service. ah right cheers, i bet they make a load of money charging people per text everytime he gets hurt lol.
LeChuck Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I can't think of a player I've disliked more than this crock. What a waste of £4 million.
broadsword Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 He should hand some of his wages back out of pure shame.
