Everytime I've seen anyone interviewed about the Presidential election in the US, be it joe public, celebrities or politicians, that is the main talking point. Obviously it matters to a hell of a lot of people.

Still doesn't make it right, or understandable to those of us who can't think why there should be a difference.

As I said before, if Ince can marry his attractive footballing style with some of the "in your face aggression" that we displayed under Hughes, then I feel sure he will pull us away from the bottom once the injuries ease and he can field a settled side.

I think the question in some people's minds, is can Ince use any money that might be available in January, wisely?

If he can, then another quality striker and class midfielder [iMO] will help tremendously.

If that is the mentality of some of our fans then we might as well give up now. The racist element amongst our supporters bring nothing but shame on our club. For someone to actually raise the question of colour with regard to any aspect of life is just beyond me. I don't know about changing the manager but we could do with getting rid of a certain element of our so called supporters.

Agreed. I was shocked by Waggy said, but am I surprised? No cant say I am.

I too was a bit gobsmacked by Waggys comments but I too am not surprised. I think there is an element of Rovers fans that do see PI differently because of his colour.

BRFC union flags with NF in the corners at England games during the late 80's and 90's show that it is not a new phenomenon.

This board is going to be some fun this coming Sunday evening I'll tell thee!!

The question has to be asked why cant people respect the opinions of other's without the abuse?

There appears to be only a few who have jumped on the Ince out Bandwagon,I think most poster's are being just rational and honest in expressing their worries and fears for the club.......dont shy away from tackling the main concerns for christs sake, that's what this MB is all about isn't it?

For some to state they think others poster want the club relegated to purely justify their supposed 'anti-Ince' stance is for me pure shi.....well,lets' just say I'm having non of it. <_<

Everything is NOT rosey in the Rovers garden.

I think there are some excellent points here.

Well done!

Anyone slightly concerned with the amount of injuries we are picking up?

Bert who has been IMO our best player this season so far is out for two weeks!

http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport..._for_two_weeks/

Is there something being done wrong with the training?

?????????????????????????????????????????Started doing kickboxing instead of 5-aside, run of the mill injuries to a few of the regulars made worse by the presence of 2 perpetual sick notes in dunn and reid.

Emerton is rarely injured-the number of injuries is quite reminescent of the Souness era.

It was early days, since then our defence has worked on it, and tightened up.

Grella was class against Boro (only his 2nd game) and Andrew scored a cracker at West Brom on saturday.

As for Hull , only us & United have taken any points off them at home this season. Does that mean Wenger should get the sack because they didnt?

Didnt deserve to beat Newcastle? Did you go? I think by half time we should of been 4 or 5 clear, so im sure we did deserve to win.

Grella was fairly good against Boro correct, but he is still adapting, that should be obvious. He'll get better in time. Andrews scored a good goal but was otherwise fairly irrelevant, if a player of better class had been in his position, would 1 or 2 more goals have been created? Who knows. I wouldn't get giddy over Andrews just because of that goal. If he produces crucial goals over a period of games then fair enough, I'll tip my hat to him.

You asked what other rivals we hadn't beaten, I named Hull. Anything else you've assumed of my thoughts is wrong and irrelevant. You seem to think I want Ince sacked, when one of the first things I stated was I am OK with him being manager.

I didn't go to the Newcastle game but the opinion that one needs to attend a game to have a decent opinion on it is stupid. Most people I speak to who go on matchday have extremely divided opinions, as do those who watch the match on tele. Newcastle were unlucky not to at least grab a point off us, and that was when they were in shambles.

For the record, I don't think the solution is buying(or selling) players in January. I think we need to get our current squad working together as a unit, have them adapt to certain positions and grind out results. Playing free-flowing, entertaining football will kill us, especially against the big clubs.

In defence of waggy, whilst not agreeing with him, I quite admire the fact he has been so open and honest about his own position, he is accusing others of not liking Ince for the wrong reasons, (again being quite brave in citing his uncle as an example) and from the outset he has in fact been one of the few supporters of Ince on this m/b.

There are ways of pointing out that racists still exist Rev, - and that isn't one of them.

Anyone with half a brain can see which side of the fence Waggy stands.

He is fine with his comments and opinions, but the last view truly is absurd, crass and ill stated.

Whilst not being the biggest fan of all thats gone on I honestly cannot abide the racist point being suggested.

............... A point that can't be ignored is the continued disruption of St Mark and his disciples offering open invites to join them in his City revolution - and that's not just the obvious target BTW.

So how does Ince deal with this; more to the point, what about some suggestions from the more vociferous detractors about what to do?

Bloody obvious db. He'll have to do what Hughes did and keep em until he can find someone better cos it will always happen with our best players until another Uncle Jack materialises. Bellamy was poached away so Hughes replaced him with Benny and the following season RSC, Lucas Neill likewise and so Warnock came in. I've said it before till I'm blue in the face that that is the quality of Hughes's management that we will miss most. And that is also the reason that we finished top half year in year out.

I think it was last season that the Directors decided not to contribute their normal £3mil, which restricted transfer funds.

The return to the annual 3m cash injection this season, plus the goings on last January when Hughes was not supported in the transfer market, plus Hughes's touchline demeanour in the final months of last season almost leads me to the conclusion that the board wanted him out and might actually have been forcing the situation.

I was against the appointment of PI from the start didn’t think he was the right man for the job, I think we needed someone with experience who could steady the ship over the summer with all the obvious transfer issues we all had been aware of since the end of last season. I am a season ticket holder who hasn’t really enjoyed his time in charge so far I hope he proves me wrong I really do as I fear a relegation scrap looming (I don’t think some of our players have the heart for the fight). I think he’s made some enemies in the players he has and his tactics have been left wanting on several occasions. As I say hope I get proved wrong and hope we can get something against Chelsea and get a run going from then on.

Spot on. Some of the scum here are aching for us to be relegated just so they can say I told you so. These pathetic sub-human sausage jockeys are not Rovers fans, but miserable wretches who only care about being proven right. The club does not need these closet claret wearers dragging it down into gloom with their constant personal attacks on the manager and players. A great number of the numbskulls here are an embarrasment to the club, and to football with their kneejerk criticism and ill-disguised glee whenever there is even the most trivial point to pour scorn upon. Go and support a 'big 4' club so you can boast and bitch about the other big 4 teams and clog the national airwaves with your BS. Leave Rovers and generally shove off.

Scum? sub-human sausage jockeys? How very rude. I trust somebody will be having a word in your shell like for that.

btw I don't think BRFC can afford any paying supporters to 'shove off' Billy. Topically anybody who attacks the honest opinion of others without questioning the accuracy or the motives are like all the brave but naive young men who valliantly signed up for the First War Pal's regiments through blind faith and jingoistic fervour only to discover their error when it was too late.

:rover: well i'm a ince fan, what i am saying my uncle says it as it is,posters on here try to hide the fact that there racist :brfc:

The links broken so I cannot read your post but from what I assume can I just say what a load of old bolllox waggy!

I don't rate Ince at all but does that make me racist? If so how come I rate Samba, Benny, Carlos and even Jason Roberts? Likewise lots of people on here who support Ince come on and criticise Roberts and Benny mercilessly. Does that make them racist too? How about your continual sniping at Chris Samba... dos that mean that you are being racist? To compare posters on here with your Uncle is just plain stupid.

Generally there is far too much unfounded waving of the 'racist' card on here. It really should be jumped on but very rarely is to the best of my knowledge. It's a serious accusation these days, is very wrong and imo illustrates very shallow thinking.

Your not asking for much then. Even more so considering they have a GD of +23 and are easily pulling teams apart.

Goodness! Some people are really losing it.

Seems like we are repeating points constantly on here as well. Keep going back over old ground on this thread - comments like 'Hughes was so good at signing players' etc - no s**t, we know that, but he is not our manager anymore sadly!!!!

God forbid, if the next set of results go against us, what the reaction is going to be like.........maybe I am just shying away from the reality of the situation, but reading so many negative thoughts can only get you down.
