As soon as Reid was fit Hughes moved Emerton away from full back, why? When Ince came in he did not even wait before announcing he wanted a Right Back if Emerton was as most seem to think a good full back we would not have sought one.

As soon as Reid was fit he played most of the season in central midfield whilst Emerton played right back. Emerton was only moved away from right back later on in the season when we changed formation for a couple of games.
