Just asking if anyone is a dab hand at photoshop and would be interested in maybe tutoring me in it a couple of times a week for a payment.

Let me know. It has always been something i would like to master.

It's been a while since I used it, but I found it reasonably easy to pick up. I think there might well be some tutorials online to help you as well.

I found just playing around with it was one of the best ways of learning. (but if you find something neat - write it down or you'll never remember how to do it again )

I don't think you should pay anyone for this sort of thing. Instead google anything your stuck with.

I learnt Photoshop at work but learnt Illustrator through the 'Classroom in a Book' books.

You can get them for older versions of PS on ebay but make sure the companion CD is included.

As Flopsy says, the best way to learn is just to practice and try applying things you've learnt in other places.
