You see, Arsenal didn't really make an "attack" and score. They just thought "hmm, what might we want to do right now? I don't know...maybe score a goal?" And just from that wish our defenders took down their pants and let it slide in easily. Pride and passion eh?

You see, this is the difference. We cna huff and puff for 90 minutes and will miss 30 close chances - Arsenal simply need to wish for it - not even to try, but just to wish for it and they've scored.

Both teams going forward well but looking vulnerable at the back. We are certainly leaving our mark on them but we still need to get closer when the arse are in possession of the ball

We've had several HUGE chances to equalize, and I actually think we've been the better team today, playing some very decent football at times. The Simpson/Emerton partnership looks good, surprisingly, and Andrews actually looks like a proper Premiership player. We're very unlucky to be a goal down.

I don't think our football has been that bad, we have cut Arsenal to pieces quite a few times but haven't capitalised.

But we are losing the ball in midfield far too easy, defending hasn't been great and we look susceptible to the counter.

If Arsenal had half the chances we had it would be at lest 10-0. We can't do basic defending, we cna't do basic finishing. Get off the field and don't come back.

Warnock has been crap so far this season, wonder if the Newcastle interest has turned his head.

I can't work out whether that second goal was simply world class, or whether we let them make it look world class.

We haven't played that badly, but we always look like we're going to concede. The offside trap scares the hell out of me against Arsenal, they look like they can score every time they go forward. Roberts seems to be back to his old self, he looks like he's playing with lead in his boots today. Get Carlos on for him and offer a different threat.

Edit: RVR, you can't blame Warnock for the second. He shouldn't have been left to deal with Adebayor in the air, he's always going to lose. Samba or Nelsen should have been with him.

It's Nelsen that has cost us both goals. He's marking shadows. The defending is awful. Offensive quite good with several good crosses, and should at least had one goal.
