FourLaneBlue Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Looks like Eboue dived to get that pen but a ridiculous lunge from Warnock that was nowhere near the ball.

BRFC1995 Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 after the taster of what carlos is about against grimsby, i for the life of me can't see how he can't get even 10 minutes in a game we are losing......to finally see him get a run out would take a bit of the edge off a defeat!
Sysagent Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Rovers 0 - 3 Arseholes Robbo nearly saved the penalty, apparently it was Warnock who was adjudged to have made contact, but he didn't.
rovers1993 Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 eboue dived!!! clearly DIVED! sooooo annoying!!!!!!!
Blackpool_Rover Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 i cant believe cheating like that is still going on in our league. BRING IN VIDEO REFS
Mr. E Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 oh well. we played good. That's what matters. Who cares about things like points, they're jsut anoying statistics we shouldn't worry about. We just played so good that's all that matters. yay.
Fylde Coast Fan Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Charitable penalty, but 7 goals in two games is not good enough this early in the season. Fuming.
RoverRich Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Eboue is a CHEATING SCUMBAG!!! I hate him with a passion!!!!
brfc4ever Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Does anybody know why Carlos is not playing ? Not fit ? He must be, since he's on the bench.
FourLaneBlue Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Robbo nearly saved the penalty, apparently it was Warnock who was adjudged to have made contact, but he didn't. No but it was a poor attempt at a challenge from Warnock which invited him to take a dive. We know what players like Eboue are like so why is Warnock giving him the chance to do it? I am usually a fan of Warnock and his solid displays but today he has been woeful.
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Not happy at all with the defending. The scoreline wouldn't hurt so much if it was a case that Arsenal were so good, but we have made schoolboy mistakes and have been punished for it. Not confident of getting a result against Fulham if we defend like this.

Who cares about things like points, they're jsut anoying statistics we shouldn't worry about. We just played so good that's all that matters. yay. To an extent - early season - performances do matter. However - the year we got relegated - we actually started off quite well losing matches by just the odd goal - being unlucky in matches more than once. Prior to the start of the season - this was one we expected to lose. Always disappointing to lose - but it is how we go on against teams outside the top 4 that will shape our season. Confused by no introduction of Carlos - though probably better to introduce him slowly - than push too quick and ruin a potential star.
FourLaneBlue Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Take away the match against Hull and it means that in our three matches against established Premiership teams we averagin conceding three goals a game.
Bazzanotsogreat Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Pathetic. A message to all those sycophants’ that admired the board for there prudence & ‘ability to hold back funds’ for a rainy day; well that rainy day has arrived ( as predicted by a vast many people) and guess what we cant buy anyone for another four months. The team deteriated a little under Hughes and clearly needed strengthening – You don’t go & sell your only creative player and replace him with lower league dross and has -beans like Fowler. The sooner the owners’ F ### the better. Im so glad I come down with the flu on wensday & missed this pile.

el_gringo_999@yahoo.co.uk Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Does anybody know why Carlos is not playing ? Not fit ? He must be, since he's on the bench. Possibly to sheild him from the inevitable backlash that will occur when he does get a chance and proves a dissapointment compared to his one game so far against a team regularly described as the worst of the 92 league clubs.
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Christ 4-0 Some defenders need to be dropped, its not good enough.
Sysagent Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 0 - 4 I am losing confidence rapidly now... Only positive with this is that Newcastle would be suicidal if they took Ince away from us, so we might still have a ½ baked Manager by the end of next week.
Rovermatt Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Another awful result. Our loss today is even more galling since this shouldn't be a game that we need to get points out of. Our previous two gutless performances have left us in the mire. We are leaking a preposterous number of goals and have absolutely nothing going forward since we lost Bentley and failed to make any improvements before the transfer window closed. This is going to be a long, hard season that could very easily end in failure of the worst kind.
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Isn't that 8 goals conceeded in our last two games? A disgrace.

Yes, just a little bit disappointing. 4-0, not that big of a deal. Hopefully if only lose 3-0 to Fulham we can go celebrating on the streets. But we can only dream.
emglch Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 it's like rovers were playing at emirates stadium. 0-4! the no. of goals rovers are conceding is absolutely SHOCKING!
Mr. E Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Isn't that 8 goals conceeded in our last two games? A disgrace. Not really. I mean Paul Robinson made a good save somewhere in one of those games. That's all that matters. I think we should definitely be satisfied with that.
