It's because there is a a match at JJB on Saturday afternoon Wigan v Fulham. The RL game is a play off game, so not part of the pre scheduled fixture list, hence the re-arrangement to Widnes.

i watched it was good.Imagine though if it was rovers and we was in the semis of a cup and JW saying sorry lads you cant play here we got something on but dont worry we rearranged the game @ macc towns ground !!! surly mr whelan knew there would be play off rugby in wigan come sept /oct when they ground shared.
