Rovers confirmed yesterday that striker Robbie Fowler has signed on a short term pay as you play deal. Fowler goes straight into the squad for today's match against Arsenal.

Talking to the Lancashire Telegraph Fowler states that he is still hungry and has faith in his ability to score goals, he also said that "he could be the bargain of the season".

Meanwhile manager Paul Ince has distanced himself from speculation linking him with Newcastle United. He has said that he is very excited to be at Rovers and is not looking to move on.

Rovers take on Arsenal today with tickets still available, prices start at £17.00.
