roversmum Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 It's all very well but life gets a little more difficult if you are a female whose hair is thinning! Time for Hyacinth Bucket hats?????? My hair has always been very fine and straight but so far is refusing to go grey. I find Rovers' woolly hats essential wearing in the winter when out. My eldest son was virtually bald at the age of 25. However, as has been said, no point in worrying about it, life goes on. There are those who are rendered bald because of medical treatment for cancer etc, I remember someone laughing at a woman who turned up at the school gates in all different kinds of headwear until they realised the reason was that the poor woman had lost her hair through chemotherapy and that poor soul is no longer with us. On a lighter note, my eldest daughter at the age of three had many a tantrum because she wanted a hair-do like Gramps 'with a wide parting in the middle'!

Amo Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 If my hair ever receded noticeably or I had started having bald spots, I would rather shave it all off to save face. Although women don't like the balding or baldies, so you're screwed either way.
