MarkBRFC Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Its dead easy on the train, theres a station called Witton which is right outside the ground. You will have no hope of getting back to Blackburn after the game though.
roversmum Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 We're going on Official Travel. There'll be at least two of us there, then
ABBEY Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 how can it be dead easy ...if you cant get home???
T4E Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Might go to this one, I'm working in Solihull at the moment so will be nice and local.
MarkBRFC Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 how can it be dead easy ...if you cant get home??? He asked how you get their by train, so i told him its easy as it is. He said nothing about getting home.
roversmum Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Get their what? Do you mean their idea is to get there by train but they're not sure how to get home? I'm confused...

cn174 Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 If there is anyone who is driving to and from Manchester to this game please could you drop me a pm. Thanks

As it happens I now have a meeting in Huntingdon next Weds so will be further away from the game than if I was at home! Gay.
TrentVilla Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Evening all. Not posted in a while but continue to be a reader of the site. Anyway thought I'd drop in ahead of the game and see what peoples thoughts are from your side. Anyone wants to know anything about getting there or anything like that then let me know.
Gav Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Going to watch The Rifles in Preston at 53 degrees, I officially hate football.
roversmum Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Looking forward to the visit, enjoyed it last year, TV. Not too sure about that new goalie of yours, though. Dont expect a big Rovers crowd, midweek etc.

Dont expect a big Rovers crowd, midweek etc. You mean OAP Brad? He has had a bit of a up and down start with us but always thought he was brilliant for you guys so hopefully he will find form soon. Not expecting many to be honest midweek and all and you never seem to bring that many down to VP. Should be a good game hope RSC forgets to get on the bus afterwards. I don't think we will make a move for him in Jan but I'm a big fan of his regardless.

Mid 90's you couldn't get a ticket away at Villa, last season was the same at reduced rates, but we don't travel in large numbers these days you're right.
trs Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 I officially hate football. I fighting a constant battle with it. There must be somewhere we can get help
