philipl Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I wouldn't give this too much credence as it is so early in 'Arry's reign. Spurs are short of a LW and there are not that manyaround in the Prem. However, Spurs already have too many lightweights and I would think they will go for someone more robust. My guess is we should brace ourselves for bids for Nelsen and RSC from Spurs if 'Arry gets the OK to change the wage structure at Spuds.

He won't bid, he just has to ask Bentley what he thinks of his old teammate, Gamst, and he'll be put right off.

thenodrog Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Pederson may not be a Damien Duff, with whom he is compared by some fans, but he does work extremely hard, is good in the air and is good at set pieces. That is something about his game that is rarely mentioned. Pretty basic stuff but a long high ball to MGP out on the left has been a good outlet when our defenders are under pressure. He nearly always outjumps the full back. Something that no one else has been able to do as well in my time watching them.
Florida Rover Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Shame the lad didn't choose to use his head to beat Chelsea late in the FA Cup semi.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 He did, he just skimmed the post by hammering it. I think that miss is one of the biggest factors in his decline. I remember how distraught he was and he was given the day off because he was so upset. Never really got back on track after that.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 That's another of his problems- he can get up as well as anybody but rarely directs the header either at goal or to a supporting player.
Walls Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 He was bad tonight, he did nothing going forward and is scared to tackle. Its time to get rid I'm afraid. He's had enough chances and I don't think he fits in with how Ince wants to play.
