Hughesy Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Played really well, unlucky to be losing. 3-1, Gutted!

cn_barlow Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 To be honest this was a game we all expected to lose, the detractors will say we still ost when Villa played poor but it actually sounds like we've played decent tonight. Sometimes the ball just doesn't run for you. How many time can we use that excuse? It was used against West Ham
Exiled_Rover Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Played really well, unlucky to be losing. We've said that far too often this year.
Sysagent Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Mmmm we seemed to have played really well at times but at others we just seem to switch off and lose the ball and then Villa have capitalised on this...
John Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 As long as we are playing some decent football, that is all that matters....................
imy9 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 It does not matter, the anti Ince brigade will be out in force, I will post after the Baggies game now as the negativity after a very good performance will be depressing.
Laurence Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Played really well, unlucky to be losing. 3-1, Gutted! same old same old, this is getting worrying
bubblerrovers Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Doesn't really matter about how you play it's all about results, we where always guna lose this one, sadly we're not even at Villa's level now
Mr. E Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 not sure what's the point of playing good if we can't win a game.
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Game over 3-1. Once again we throw a game away after dominating it. We stopped the pressure before HT which let them get back into it, then we gave the ball away too cheaply and we got punished for it. We lost this game!
Blackpool_Rover Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 i actually wish i still lived in the UK so i would be at the game and not having to read rubbish from people on here
Backroom Tom Posted October 29, 2008 Backroom Posted October 29, 2008 At least the anti Ince brigade will be happy.
Amo Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 No killer instinct, no concentration, no discipline. We're throwing games away.
cn_barlow Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Doesn't really matter about how you play it's all about results, we where always guna lose this one, sadly we're not even at Villa's level now Dont forget we lost 4-0 at home last season. I get your point though
Hughesy Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Im sure we must of played good under Hughes but also lost - what did you all say then? Did you all get the rope out then aswell?
LeChuck Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Stoke, Middlesbrough and Fulham are all winning as well. This is a terrible night for us. Whilst I wouldn't say we're in a 'scrap', we're certainly part of a cluster of 6 or 7 teams that could go down.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 We went too far forward and Agbonlahor was always going to outsprint everyone. I'll avoid the board because the Ince haters will be partying tonight, but we played well. People were commenting how well we played. We just can't finish our chances. It's a shame, but there were positives. Also, Andrews has a good game but I'm sure he'll be slagged off like everyone else.
hawaii501 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Ince has yet to impress. He aint helping himself by making very strange changes. He swaps the team about far too much and he makes odd changes during matches. We are losing 2-1 and he puts on a defender. WHY!!!!?????
ABBEY Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 It does not matter, the anti Ince brigade will be out in force, I will post after the Baggies game now as the negativity after a very good performance will be depressing. 2 points out of nine with games including boro and bolton is good enough for you? would you rather have 3 points or 0 points and a good performance...?
Exiled_Rover Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Doesn't really matter about how you play it's all about results, we where always guna lose this one, sadly we're not even at Villa's level now They spend £50 bloody million this summer, of course we're not at their level anymore.
G Somerset Rover Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 As long as we are playing some decent football, that is all that matters.................... Incey will no doubt still be happy saying we've played some "fantastic stuff". Spurs have played some good football this season yet find theirselves rock bottom. Ah well, at least we've WBA on Sat who'd also put themselves top of the "we've been hard done by and feel sorry for ourselves" league on Saturday.
thenodrog Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I'm listening on the radio and we are getting much praise from Don Mackay BUT dominating matches without taking chances can soon become relegation form. I'd rather play tight uncompromising safety first in-your-face stuff than an airy fairy passing game that leaves us vulnerable and see's us losing.
