DeadlyDirk Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 PNE 1-0 Burnley Callum Davidson I bet the Burnley fans loved that one, nothing better than a former Rover coming up withe goal!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 We took more to Deepdale for a pre-season friendly than Burnley did today. Biggest and best supporters in the world that lot...HONEST!

Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 It's the big day in DingleLand. 100,000,000 crammed in t'Turf. I have a worrying feeling Spurs are going to choke and let in some soft goals tonight.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 1-0 Dingles. A sinking feeling is becoming obvious.
Flopsy Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 2-0. What price Bentley scoring in the 93rd minute to make it 2-1 and put them out?
Presty On Tour Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 what are spurs doing???? If Burnley go through it will be a disaster!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 2-0. What price Bentley scoring in the 93rd minute to make it 2-1 and put them out? Please please please please please. I just have an inescapable feeling of impending doom. Please God no.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 ###### ###### ###### ######. ARRY, YOU ARE FKING TERRIBLE.
brfcshabba Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Now it;s setup for a last minute heartbreaker for Burnley
meerkat Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Not much between the teams in the first ten minutes. I wouldn't actually have thought there's much difference between the top of the Championship and bottom of the Prem in a one off situation. P.S. All the Burnley fans are roundly booing Bentley! I guess that's one thing we can agree on! If it means Lancashire beating London, I'll go for Burnley every time, go Burnley!
Presty On Tour Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Extra time before away goals count i think.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 It's extra time then if it stays as it is, Burnley win on away goals. So Tottenham have extra time to score.
ffan Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 It's extra time then if it stays as it is, Burnley win on away goals. So Tottenham have extra time to score. I thought Burnley had won and progressed to the final. Then I heard there was extra time
meerkat Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 It's extra time then if it stays as it is, Burnley win on away goals. So Tottenham have extra time to score. Come on Burnley, inflict more pain on Bentley
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Spurs are an absolute disgrace. To throw away a 3 goal lead is just ridiculous. Harry has been shown up as the pish-poor manager he is. What a bloody mess that defence is. Burnley will probably win this, and rightfully. But it shouldn't have even been a possibility if Harry wasn't such a crap tactician. Bloody hell. 3-0 down to a Championship side. What a fking cock up.

Its been a problem at Spurs for years, even when they were challenging for the Uefa cup spots it was a case of Spurs trying to score more than the opposition rather than build a solid defence. Dingles are our historical enemies, but i hate Spurs with a passion as well.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I cannot get my head around it. How has he managed to throw it away. He didn't even have to win or draw the game, just prevent 3 goals, hardly an unreasonable task. We won't hear the end of this for years. I hope Spurs are relegated/deducted 40000 points/go bust.
Flopsy Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 If it means Lancashire beating London, I'll go for Burnley every time, go Burnley! But it doesnt it means Yorkshire beating London. so why should we care?

To give away a 3 goal advantage is criminal. I couldn't see someone like Sam give away such an advantage... With Spurs struggling in the league still i wonder what the odds are on Spurs sacking another manager before the end of the season.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 If Fulham/Arsenal/Chelsea/Tottenham had actually played and not fannied about, Burnley wouldn't be here. But they took advantage of inept managerial decisions and used them, which is fair enough and should be applauded. If this was any other club I'd be ecstatic. But it's Burnley, for Gods sake.
