SamDingle Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Not sure about 'jealous' not coming close. I'd say for the last 30 years that would probably be spot on. Certainly since you were bought by the Jersey based steel magnate. But would I swap this season in the Championship, the cup games, the flowing football.. for a season of desperately clinging to the premiership watching Big Sam's hoofball.. Nah.

SamDingle Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 We live your dreams. Last night I dreamt about buying some cheese from Bolton market. Is that really your life, Mr Creosote?

bellamy11 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Really? I could have sworn you had deamt about s******* your sister. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdPJia4p3tw Amazing comeback there. Surely somebody can do slightly better than this?
Mr Creosote Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Amazing comeback there. Surely somebody can do slightly better than this? Sorry. I wasn't aware that you were in charge of quality control. Mug.
bellamy11 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Sorry. I wasn't aware that you were in charge of quality control. Mug. And again. Surely you've got enough on your hands trolling and stalking people without making yourself look juvenile and thick too?
Mr Creosote Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 And again. Surely you've got enough on your hands trolling and stalking people without making yourself look juvenile and thick too? Who are you again?
T4E Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Who are you again? I've really tried not to place you on ignore but I can't fight it any longer.

So you wouldn't swap going to the likes of Arsenal, United, Liverpool, Chelsea for the drab days at Swansea and Nottingham, where you're giving out free tickets, yet still can't fill your stadium? You wouldn't want to watch the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Robinho and the best players in the world? Face it Dingle, you Burnley fans have nothing against us, we've humiliated you time and time again. Games such as Liverpool VS Everton, L'pool VS United, Arsenal VS Spurs are known as rivalries, we hardly ever play you and when we do we tend to beat you. You should be lucky we class you as our rivals. You're in the league where you belong. Someone who says that they would rather watch the free flowing football of Ol' McDonald than Robinho's/Ronaldo's Trickery and skill is utterly mad. If we wanted free flowing football, then we would've kept Paul Ince, it's a results driven business Dingle, and it seems your not getting the results required in your Fizzy Pop League, to come play with the "big" boys. Emirates or Ninian Park, you decide?
SamDingle Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Emirates or Ninian Park, you decide? Don't have to. They play each other next Monday for the right to host the Super Clarets.
roversmum Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Ha ha blue n white rover, you walked right into that one! Touche, Sam!
Blue n White Rover Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Don't have to. They play each other next Monday for the right to host the Super Clarets. Typical reply, If it's like that then, Anfield/Old Trafford or St.Andrews/Turf Moor Take your time on that one
Blue n White Rover Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Ha ha blue n white rover, you walked right into that one! Touche, Sam! Good come back However, funny how he ignored the rest of my post
JAL Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 As most will know I have nothing but distain for all things claret and blue, but with a poke in the eye and kick in the shin from my colleagues at work, I felt I should share this with you: Burnley have sold 6100 tickets for the away game at Chelsea in the carling cup Now I understand this is the biggest game in living memory for the t*****s down the M65, apart from the games against us, but lets face it, that is a great following for a midweek game........tickets are cheap at £15 but still a great following. LETS HOPE THE T***S GET STUFFED! Interesting that they could only muster 6000 for a home game against a premiership club this week. It begs the question, can Burnley fans sustain supporting their team for at least one season especially given the prices at premiership turnstiles. When they have to start paying £30-40 per game I wonder how many clarets you'll see then especially if they end up proping the league.

Tickets are dear sure but as for ST cost I think they probably pay more than us.
incy wincy little spider Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Just got back from watching Burnley v Coventry (got free tickets) They played pretty well and probably should have won instead of a 92nd min draw they ended up thanks to eagles. As for support, their crowd is a lot louder then ewood, was pretty surprised! The Coventry fans were the worst away fans I have ever seen, all 100 of them! That Icelandic player seemed okay but he did get pushed off the ball a bit (although he is only 19? so expected) Overall really good atmosphere and decent game. Still a blackburn fan though
No Nay Never Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Just got back from watching Burnley v Coventry (got free tickets) They played pretty well and probably should have won instead of a 92nd min draw they ended up thanks to eagles. Still a blackburn fan though erm something in your post tells me you aren't a Blackburn fan. Really good atmosphere at turf moor? do me a favour. how many times did they sing No Nay Never ??? must be well into the 100's usually is. Burnley the legend in there own town !!
Stuart Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 What kind of a shower needs a last minute goal to equalise, at home, to Coventry?
LeftWinger Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 how many times did they sing No Nay Never ??? must be well into the 100's usually is. Quick question. Isn't the song No Nay Never suggesting we'll never play them as we're in a higher division than them - hence "will we play the Burnley b*stards, no nay never no more"? Then why do they sing it? They'll never play us again because they're in a lower division? Doesn't make sense - or am I totally getting it wrong.
