Goodness. It looks like Mr. Flood may rain down a wave of misery upon Burnley FC by demanding that they channel funds his way. There will be a sea of dispair down the cobbled end of the M65, and the current of opinion will turn against their one-time saviour, and a torrent of abuse will be heading Brendon's way, and a river of tears will be shed.

Evening all, My first post on here, you will really love me as not only am I a proud Claret but also a proud Tyke! Anyway thanks to (most of) you for your kind comments. Regarding the no, nay never song- most Clarets now sing 'till we play rather than will we play, as I'm 52 and a bit of a traditionalist I still go for the original version, I know it doesn't make sense but that's hardly unique for a song is it?

Have any of you got advice regarding driving down to Arsenal? It seems Arsenal reccomend parking at Cockfosters then jumping on the tube but others are saying that Arsenal tube station is closed after the games! I am not really wanting to be wandering around London looking for an open station that will be on a differant line! Can't understand why a major city can't handle a 60,000 crowd (hardly an unusual event down there) without silly problems, most places just want to get shot of away fans as quickly as possible (even us).

At least.

Play fair, theo, and help him out.

In return I'll tell you the best parking at Bloomfield Road and the quickest route to Doncaster. It'll all come in handy.

That would be a nice gesture, should we need it. It is always good to have insider knowledge of such things from someone who has had ample opportunity to work out a good route to these kind of places :P.

I'd park at Cockfosters and tube it. If crowd congestion closes Arsenal tube station, Finsbury Park is only about 15 minutes walk away.

Thanks Philip, that does look favorite, not too bad to find Finsbury Park by the looks of it.

How many at Blackpool? I heard it was 1100, but I wasn't there myself so can't confirm it, £26 to sit in an open, scaffolding 'stand' not for me, I did it last season but you have to draw the line somewhere.

.......On so,so,so many occasions of course!

The simple matter of fact is that neither Flood nor Agent Kilby have the financial means to make the Clarrot cretins a Premiership product, despite the near miracles Coyle appears to be working on the pitch.

It would also appear that the good folk of Burnley have no heart for it either judging by their poor gates in relation to their league position.

But still, they took 6,000 'day trippers' to the big smoke tha' knows!!!!

Oh joy. A giant team beating a minnow. My, football is interesting.

Who said it was interesting?

As a Rovers fan, I just like to see Burnley lose. I think cup sentiments can be thrown out the window when it comes to them.

As much as it pains me to say it I thought the Dingles did very well yesterday they were undone by two top quality goals. I wish we showed some of the fight and commitment that they did, hats off to em for having a go.

Ouch that hurt, well I'm off to see me shrink now.

This may be a pro-Burnley thread but cmon BRFCS its ONLY 28 days to "30 years and counting"

Any chance of celebrating this at the Wigan home match on 25th April?

We need a banner that stays at the ground attached to a stand(like at MUFC,like "the Holte End is the 12th man"etc)

Any organisers...I will donate BUT we have to do something.
