Presty On Tour Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 It just had to be in Burnley.... So your mum's your daughter. I wouldn't say no to a 3 some! I like the way they parked outside Betfred Bookies when they were asking the fellas to guess their ages. could have gone inside and organised a spread bet
Billy Castell Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 It just had to be in Burnley.... So your mum's your daughter. Ugh, talk about rough tarts. Jesus Christ, was the surgeon called Dr. Frank Spencer? And your grandparents are your sunday lunch... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...not-enough.html Lazy fat ____s. That is a load of crap. I know people who are that sort of weight, and have worked full time jobs. They have also got fit, lost a lot of that weight and had a healthy diet. For ___s sake, Steven Hawking has been trying to understand the mysteries of the universe, and has raised the profile of physics and he can't even move at all. Those freakishly small faced goons are making excuses for their idleness and stupidity. Fat people can work too. OK, they can't go down the mines or join the Marines but there are a whole host of other jobs.
JC4LAB Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 If Preston win and Burnley Draw or lose their last Game do Preston pip them to the play offs??
philipl Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 If Preston win and Burnley Draw or lose their last Game do Preston pip them to the play offs?? Correct. Both PNE and Burnley would qualify under that scenario if Cardiff also lose by 5 or more. However, slightly less unlikely, if Burnley win, PNE win and Cardiff lose, both PNE and the dingles will be in the play-offs.
JC4LAB Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Burnley play Bristol and Preston play QPR..both at home ..Expect Pampers to be in short supply in Burnley this week..
Fife Rover Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Burnley play Bristol and Preston play QPR..both at home ..Expect Pampers to be in short supply in Burnley this week.. Oh deary me! That gave me the best laugh Ihave had for a while; in fact since Aunty Nelly had her proverbial accident with the mangle.
yorkyclaret Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Burnley play Bristol and Preston play QPR..both at home ..Expect Pampers to be in short supply in Burnley this week.. No worries, just looking forward to the celebrations. Hope Cardiff can keep Preston out, Cardiff and Reading are on bad runs but Preston have hit a run of form, 2 of their best players suspended on sunday, what a dick getting sent off for shirt removal when scoring the winner (having been booked earlier)
sambo Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Was stupid, I disagree with the rule at times but he knew it would happen. What a goal though.
Hughesy Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Im more interested in the automatic slot - im praying Reading win tonight and then either beat BIG CLUB at weekend or draw, and Sheff Utd pip them both. Dont want BIG CLUB back up, they are just too big.
thenodrog Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Even theBBC are kissing Dingle Arse Obviously his erstwhile publicist old Nicko is using his contact book and influence to pull in a few favours.
Fife Rover Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Even theBBC are kissing Dingle Arse If you actually knew the man Ozzie I know that you wouldn't be saying things like that. I do know him from his days as a Dunfermline player, and part of the best team I have seen in DAFC colours, going back to 1980. Owen Coyle is a fantastic bloke; he absolutely LOVES football. Never met anyone that exudes so much enthusiasm for the game, and it really is infectious. I'll tell you what, I often wish Rovers had him for their manager. He knows how to send a team out not only wanting to win, but firmly believing that they WILL win.

Agree one hundred per cent, although I'm hoping the ginger whinger goes soon and Coyle can take over from him!!!
Ozz Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 If you actually knew the man Ozzie I know that you wouldn't be saying things like that. Was more a dig at band wagon jumping BBC than any slur on Coyle Fife.. I'm sure he's a wonderful guy, but also wonder if he is so fantastic why he's still at Burnley.

If it's just to get one over on them (which hasn't exactly been difficult) it's hardly worth it.

I'm sure he's a wonderful guy, but also wonder if he is so fantastic why he's still at Burnley. David Moyes served his apprenticeship at Preston before landing his big job at Everton and Coyle is obviously seen within the game as having the same potential. If he wins promotion with Burnley or even takes them close it's only a matter of time before a leading Prem club gives him a chance. Why? Hardly a big enough name for Blackburn Rovers. Stupid post but then you seem to specialise in them.

jodrell Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I think he was linked with notlob a few months back as he played for them As for the unwanted one I thought you could not give a monkeys about the dingles
Guest Vinjay606 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I think he was linked with notlob a few months back as he played for them As for the unwanted one I thought you could not give a monkeys about the dingles I don't. Just read to see if anyone was discussing the Lancashire Utd thing in this thread. After all people don't mind mergers being discussed just seems to be takeovers that are annoying.
b12_simon Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Lets hope takes them close and a leading Prem club gives him a chance are true soon then. I reckon if the Dingles do miss out, he'll be getting a few offers over the summer. I don't. Just read to see if anyone was discussing the Lancashire Utd thing in this thread. After all people don't mind mergers being discussed just seems to be takeovers that are annoying. It's not takeovers that are annoying, just the massive amounts of shyte posted in the takeover thread.
yorkyclaret Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I reckon if the Dingles do miss out, he'll be getting a few offers over the summer. Funnily enough he did a question and answer session in Sabden recently, I wasn't there, but someone who was has posted on claretsmad that he said he had turned down 3 job offers while with us. Can't say if it's true but no one else has disputed it.
super_arran Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Am I alone in thinking that it would be good if Burnley went up? Mainly just because we haven't had a "proper" local derby in what seems like ages.

I'd also be happy if Preston manage it.
