I've just travelled up the M66 from Manchester. Terrible, just awful :(

Let's hope when you are travelling back you catch them going the other way wearing their Newcastle Fan masks!

Villa have done one have of the job for the good of football, it's time for Sheffield United to win the Yorkshire derby and complete the job.

In that name of all that is good:

:brfcsmilie: C'mon you Blades! :rover:

I'll hang my head in shame now.

But it is a long time since I've looked forwards to two matches in a week not involving Rovers as much as I am looking forwards to the dingles at Wembley and the CL final on Wednesday.

A bit like the tingle before a horror double bill.

Fairly neutral about Wednesday. Like 'em or loathe 'em United are probably the best match for Barcalona right now. Should be a fairly end to end match - wouldn't like to call it.

As for today, extremely nervous that Burnley are going to win. Not that I don't think we can beat them next year just that I don't want them to get the PL money. Oh, and the misplaced smugness that I've put up with at work for the last few weeks.

Tony Cascarino claims in today's Times that Burnley are a bigger club than Rovers or Bolton. Coming from a cockney-plastic Irishman I'd like to know how he arrived at that conclusion!

Cass left whatever brains he ever had in him behind when he left Foots Cray to play for Millwall.

Just for that we should have a Tony Cascarino thread with the swear filter turned off!

Clueless comments without fact or foundation.Should the unspeakables gain promotion today the hype surrounding our lesser Clarrott neighbours will increase 100 fold.

Not that I condone such actions, but word has reached me that several individuals wearing Tugay masks have been seen throwing stones at the departing Burnley coaches.

Tell you what this rivalry thing has gone to far……

I also believe a number of banners have already been placed on the M65, pictures to follow hopefully.

What note Sambo?

A small note was passed across the Blackburn End lower, saying something like

"When them b.....rds lose tomorrow, decorate the m65 in flags and banners"

Something like that anyway!

Alstair Campbell on 5 live this morning said that his wife's going today and isn't really into football but the games she has come to Burnley usually lose. P****d my sides laughing at that as it's obvious he's taken her to the Rovers matches but failed to mention that bit
