DeadlyDirk Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Thankg god Drogba isn't on with these conditions, he'd be diving all over the shop.
Rovers in America Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 We really need to quit playing such a heavy passing game with the field so wet. It's just not going to work because eventually you'll hit one too soft and the water will just kill it. Seems to have killed quite a few of our attacks.
Eddie Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 We seem to be afraid to move forward and have a shot. With these conditions we need to be having a pop and you never know.
DeadlyDirk Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Absolutely fantastic save from Robinson. Good old commentators with no faith in Robbon on Setanta, "It must have took a deflection"
DeadlyDirk Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I've just remembered Bosingwa's comments from earlier in the season that he was excited about playing against top players and that Pedersen is the best in the league. I wonder if he still thinks the same thing???
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I think Alex's freekick nearly killed Villanueva as it went at 200mph.
emglch Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 lost count how many saves RObbo made! Incredible form!
Sysagent Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 *groan* Jammy goal down to conditions... Poor Robo.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Robbo prob could have stopped it considering it went 2mph over the line.
Eddie Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Pretty sure Robinson could have saved that if he hadn't stood appealing. Oh well.
Hannah Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Robinson needs to learn to play to the whistle! He would have got that if he had tried!!
DeadlyDirk Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Pretty sure Robinson could have saved that if he hadn't stood appealing. Oh well. Quite possible.
Presty On Tour Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 gutted to concede to a freak goal. Would of been a platform to build on going in 0-0 t ht
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 MPG went down a bit too easily there!
krislu Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I feel for those rovers supporters who have gone down to ewood to watch this "game". My god what a poor side we have become. I guess the combination of a poor group of players and a rubbish manager have gotten the best of us.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I don't think we've become a poor side. We've played well in quite a few games but just haven't finished teams off. We played brilliant against Villa, who are a team most people predict would finish just outside top 4, yet they somehow won the game when we controlled it and should have got the 3 points.
Presty On Tour Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 the axe has returned to kill them all!
James No. 7 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 MPG went down a bit too easily there! Never mind that he went down too easily. He clearly had his shirt pulled.
tony gale's mic Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I don't think we've become a poor side. We've played well in quite a few games but just haven't finished teams off. We played brilliant against Villa, who are a team most people predict would finish just outside top 4, yet they somehow won the game when we controlled it and should have got the 3 points. They didn't 'somehow' win the game, we defended shockingly and they took advantage. We've played badly this time round, yet if the ref hadn't been so myopic we would have been in the lead.
