Cocker Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Do you get any errors when you try and load it? My guess (without an error) at the moment is that the upgrade didn't download all the correct files when trying to install over the top. Best way forward I think would be to uninstall all flashplayer reference and then download the full thing instead of installing over the top of the old one.
ABBEY Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 tried that ,shockplayer downloaded ok and the flash player says its installed but nowts happening tho.
Mc Love Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Abbey i think that maybe a virus...scan your computer immediately
Cocker Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Abbey, Looking round it seems a few people might be having the same problem. Many saying that they went through this:- Click And it sorted them out.

Alan75 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 What system are you running on. At present BBC iPlayer Download Manager is only available to Windows XP (but not 64-bit XP) or Windows Vista users with Internet Explorer 6 or later and Windows Media Player 9 or later. Paul Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 When I try to watch YouTube I get the following error. It seems common but no definitive answer? "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player" Both are up to date, have uninstalled, installed etc. Pop ups allow youtube. Tried adding Flash Player to firewall exceptions but haven't been successful. Any suggestions?
tchocky Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 See this: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&...7s+Flash+Player Check out the 4th one at answers.yahoo.com Think you should be able to find a solution in those search results somewhere.
ABBEY Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 wmp....i get this message. Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:").
