Read this story today in the Daily Express:

Blackburn Rovers have helped St. James' Church of England Primary School after thieves stole lead from the top of the building and set fire to the rest of the roof, which caused the PE floor to be wrecked by the sprinkler system. During the six months of reconstruction work, Blackburn Rovers transported kids to and from Ewood Park via a club bus for PE training, and also some free football sessions.

Headteacher, Susan Cliffe, said: 'I don't know what we would have done without Blackburn Rovers.'

In gratitude, the school threw a thank you celebration for the club, to which Jason Roberts attended.

I'm sure some of you have already read this, especially your locals, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Just been on Talks****e. Well done to the club, shows Rovers care about their community.

Shortly after a Dingle rang up with some tale about Ian "Wraaaaghts's" sunglasses! Cue p1 sstaking from Cockney presenters!

It was actually featured on the Premier League Preview show (narrated by Marcus Buckland and Ian Darke) on SS1 a few weeks ago.

Well done on the club, showed Roberts training with the kids and then 'dancing' in the school hall later on. As an ex attendee, it's great to see.

Maybe JR went to pick up some finishing tips from them. ;)

Good on the club though, nice to see them giving something back to the communtiy which ultimately funds the running of the club in the first place.
