BRFC4Life Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 We're gonna win the league..........................................cup?
philipl Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Phew- excellent win. The other clubs in the lasst eight look a bit daunting though.
Ossydave Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I've actually come round to the idea of Burnley getting through, none of the other possible games really appeal to me for the next round.
Rovers in America Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 America is such a bad influence! FULL TIME!!!!!!!!! Exactly, I'm still drinking since election night. Better buy the booze while I can still afford it before all my money goes toward taxes to pay for all of Obama's proposed spending.
jim mk2 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Means nowt. Rather have 3 points in the league
novella Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Good win, credit to paul ince for his substitution that changed the game.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 If Chelsea lose I'll lose the will to live.
Mr. E Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Fantastic win. We still have something good to look forward to this season. Let's just keep our heads above the line in the league and focus on the cups.
imy9 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Means nowt. Rather have 3 points in the league I agree with you, it was an excellent result after no wins in 7 and Ince chose an excellent side which means that 3 points look more likely on Saturday.
novella Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Means nowt. Rather have 3 points in the league at least we will have confidence going into saturdays game.
92er Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Look at that Ince's team beat a full strength Sunderland team away from home, with Fowler up front, long may it continue Is Ince going to get any credit for picking an excellent side as now our first team will be ready for Saturday? The impression of the summariser On Radio Lancs was that the difference was down to Roque coming on. He said that Fowler didn't do much, partly because he's not as mobile as he used to be and can't create much, but he didn't get much service.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Great result given the formation we put out. I'm not criticizing Ince for fielding a strange team, I would haven't have risked many key players either.Let's hope we can take a mental advantage from this and repeat the scoreline at Ewood. Well done Rovers, well done Ince.
Exiled_Rover Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Means nowt. Rather have 3 points in the league Aren't you a ray of sunshine.
joey_big_nose Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Great win. Sounds like we played reasonably well but were consistently beaten in the air from set pieces. On top of that the team could start with five or six different players on Saturday whilst Sunderland will be largely the same. You have to be happy! Good work Ince. Plus Howarth seemed to do okay and gives us another option in injury striken times.
Ossydave Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Means nowt. Rather have 3 points in the league Wins boost morale, whatever the competition.
imy9 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Good win, credit to paul ince for his substitution that changed the game. sshhh dont say that too loud, people will think that you are Pro Ince
BillC Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Means nowt. Rather have 3 points in the league A little ray of sunshine on this cold and dull November evening.
BRFC4Life Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Good win, credit to paul ince for his substitution that changed the game. on the other side of the coin, what does he get for picking the wrong starting line up? Lets hope he gets in right at the weekend.
DeadlyDirk Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Well done boys, well done Ince, good win, always nice to get a cup run, Roque back among the goals and ready for a start on the weekend, all good good good tonight.
mark Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Means nowt. Rather have 3 points in the league that's the spirit. ince out.
novella Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 on the other side of the coin, what does he get for picking the wrong starting line up? Lets hope he gets in right at the weekend. of course he will pick a stronger team on saturday. he was obviously planning on resting players and knicking it.
Hughesy Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 2-1 Jones, Samba error He turned and hit the ball from about 22 yards, how is that Samba's fault?? c'mon sunderland, let's show ince!!! WTF? Means nowt. Rather have 3 points in the league Typical. If we get to the final, please dont come then either - support like yours isnt needed. Shouldnt you be at Stamford Bridge tonight?
John Howarth Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Great win. ANDY HAWORTH.
imy9 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 on the other side of the coin, what does he get for picking the wrong starting line up? Lets hope he gets in right at the weekend. How can it be the wrong line up when we won? One man made a difference but we were still level with a full strength Sunderland side away from home. Does it not look like a fantastic decision given that we made SEVEN changes.
