tony gale's mic Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I don't want Burnley to win this but it would be amazing if we beat them in the next round.
Paul Mellelieu Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 4-3, Burnley with chance to win They've missed!
Amo Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Ince took a gamble with that line-up, but full credit to him and the lads for winning the game. Let's just hope we have the same joy in the league.
Ossydave Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Praying for the right draw on Saturday now!
colin Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Bugger me backwards with a bargepole! Burnley have beaten Chelsea at SB. Thank god I don't have to speak to any dingles tomorrow
Bobby G Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Its anyones tournament now! United wont play their best team and Arsenal will play with their young albeit potentially brilliant set of youngsters. Bring on Burnley now!
Derby Blue Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Its anyones tournament now! United wont play their best team and Arsenal will play with their young albeit potentially brilliant set of youngsters. Bring on Burnley now! and Spuds can't stop scoring.......
Backroom Tom Posted November 12, 2008 Backroom Posted November 12, 2008 Well done to them, sorry it has to be said. This cup is more winnable without Chelsea in it. got to say if we don't win it I hope Arsenal do they are a pleasure to watch, Wenger is a genius.
Paul Mellelieu Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Well done to them, sorry it has to be said. No it doesn't.
grizfoot Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 The Dingles beating Chelsea. Didn't see that one coming. Hopefully we'll get them drawn at Ewood in the next round to bring them back down to earth a little.
tony gale's mic Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008  I've got mixed feelings about this. Obviously it's rubbish to see Burnley go through after we were beaten quite convincingly the other day, but best case scenario we play (and beat) them in the next round, next best case scenario two of the top teams draw each other and Burnley draw Derby or Watford thus making any potential passage easier..
Paul Mellelieu Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I want Watford at home next (or Derby). At last some common sense.
tony gale's mic Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I want Watford at home next (or Derby). Burnley...surely?! Odds are we'll win, we'll have Roque back fully, decent crowd, should get the best out of the players. And I've been more on the critical side of Ince but I think it's the sort of match where he'll be in his element and will probably be a plus for the side.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Burnley are on a good run, and they could sneak a win we'd never hear the end of. Give 'em another few years of stewing. Derby/Watford at home here too.
Amo Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Stop being pussies. You make Burnley sound like the Big Four. Bring 'em on, I say!
Ossydave Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 We're bound to get arsenal. Burnley will get spuds. We'll both get beat. Spuds/Arsenal semi.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 You obviously don't realise the importance of bragging rights around these parts. 28 years. Lets make it a few more before putting them back in their place.
