hawkiiz Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Im going to go as far to say, if we are bottom of the table come this evening. Ince should be sacked today! Anyone agree? if they get sam allardyce, yes. if they go for souey... not sure.
BRFC1995 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 hopefully wba follow our example and give up second half. At the minute though ain'nt looking likely, miles more entertaining match to watch than all the hyped up big 4 matches, and generally they are the only none blackburn matches i end up watching.
Mr. E Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 if they get sam allardyce, yes. if they go for souey... not sure. the reverse for me.
dopper69 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Same here, I would much prefer Souey than BFS. Not sure on Toogs as coach though. That just screams trying to excite the fans.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 bob fleming on BRFCS.com says Jason McAteer should take a look the bloody league table. Along with the form guide.
dennis the menace Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 But some of what has been written on here - and clearly read by Holt because there ain't any other fans MB out there worth reading - is clearly offensive towards Paul Ince. Read back just a few pages on this thread and you'll find the words "pr!ck", "gimp", "clown", "idiot" and "t@sser" all used. What Holt has done is to put his own interpretation on what's driving all that - and he is bang out of order to do so. But the fuel for this particular fire is on this very thread I'm afraid. He says so twice in the Sky clip. the fuel.. you gotta be kiddind me, thats the "EVIDENCE".. well then this thread is full of nazi´s.. we might aswell just capitalize, the 3 reich is taking over.. i coudnt give a flying (Please don't use that word again), whether people call ince stupid or idiot, as long as it isnt racist abuse.. and so far, i have seen none of that, so it should never, and i repeat, NEVER be twisted in such way.. NEVER HAVE I HEARD, THAT WORDS LIKE STUPID, CLOWN, IDIOT OR SUCH, BEING CLASSED AS FUEL, WHEN IT COMES TO RACISM.. do i dare, calling the word fuel stupid?? or would i too be categorized as a hitler wannebe.? THERE will never be an excuse for mr holt´s race card, none what so ever.. me personally, i havent come across one single post referring to ince colour, which in any way was negative.. QUITE THE OPPOSITE, it was actually seen as a positive move, so i find it repulsive and discriminating, that holt even slightly hints at ince´s colour, as a problem IN GENERAL.. if ince´s colour was the problem, one should ask, how the hell he got the job, in the first place.. regarding ince, well its time for him to go, the majority on this board agreed upon, that aprox 10 games would be a good indication if his ability to handle the job.. at that time it was still looking ok, but nonetheless going in the wrong direction.. 5 games later, and its gone downhill, faster then a speeding bullet.. in that light, it really is time for a change.. perhaps our next fixtures are "easy", but even with okay results, i still dont trust ince and his decision making.. i simply dont feel he is what we need, as a long term solution, and this i base upon, that i question his ability to command respect, i question his ability to get through with, a coherant point of view to a squad, based on his poor communicating skills.. i question his ability regarding transfers, i question him when it comes to tactics.. all in all, there are so many questionable aspects, when it comes to ince, that he just doesnt, instill one bit of confidence in me, neither as a fan or as a football expert
Hughesy Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Nicko how certain are you that he will be gone before the Wigan game?? Any chance of an answer Nicko??
roverfanuk Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 West Brom has made our performance vs Pompey look like a joke! They have looked far more likely to win. For anyone who thinks Ince should stay. I recomend that you remember where we finished last season, remember how we played vs Pompey and how many goals we conceeded and then take a look at the West Brom vs Pompey game. Ince should go... This evening!
American Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 To be fair he has said Brad left not because of Ince but cause of Villa. Also we all know Brad handed in a transfer request the day after Hughesy left...So I dont think it was cut and dry that Ince would become the gaffer then was it? He said it here, but insinuated in his article (to sell a few more papers) that it was Ince's fault that he left.

This evening! Sadly I agree. We look even worse than WBA and they are bottom of the table. I just now realized how unorganized, noconfidence and hoof the poof we are playing.
American Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Interesting perspective, backing up the opinions of some on here: http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,1...4605755,00.html
den Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Interesting perspective, backing up the opinions of some on here: http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,1...4605755,00.html Would the same person suggest that the relative success under Hughes, was nothing to do with Hughes, - it was all to do with JW? No. Responsibilities on both sides.
Billy Castell Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Henk Ten Cate's Panathanikos are 3rd, 6 points behind leaders Olympiakos. Shteve McClaren's FC Twente are 3rd, 5 points behind leaders AZ Alkmaar. Don't know about Spartak Moscow's domestic form after Michael Laudrup joined, but they are 4th in the UEFA Cup group D with 3 points from 3 games. BFS is still unemployed. That's how the other managers who were heavily linked with us in the summer are doing. Thought some of you may be wondering.
FourLaneBlue Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 This is the table that has hurt us the most...the home games table in which we are bottom with -10 goal difference. Premiership home games table. That includes four games against the top 4 making it difficult however that makes the rest of the games all the more important yet the other 4 games yielded only five points. That includes an injury-time equaliser against Boro and our only win was rather fortuitous. That is why Ince is under so much pressure...forget those who did not like him before he was even appointed, forget accusations of racism...it is all down to unnaceptable results which mean we are heavily embroiled in a relegation battle with teams like Newcastle and Tottenham being the teams directly outside the relegation zone. I would expect them both to spend - Newcastle rather less than Spurs - in Jan to make it all the more difficult for us.
roverfanuk Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Who else is waiting very patiently for that yellow banner at the bottom of SkySports News. I'm expecting to see something very similar too:
chris Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 i'm sure he will not get sacked before wigan, so don't hold your breath
AggyBlue Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Who else is waiting very patiently for that yellow banner at the bottom of SkySports News. I'm expecting to see something very similar too: I'd go and hibernate for a few months, you're in for a long wait
Greenall_David Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Hi guys. Not been on this for a while, i've heard that the squad don't like the training staff. Don't know if it's been mentioned before, but to be honest most of then are young guys without experience. The only experienced is probably knox. It's needs to be done very soon are we will be in trouble. Who's going to be the replacement?
Iceman Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I cannot for the love of this club understand, why ince has not been sacked yet. There is no time for nice guys at times like this,JW is a nice guy but we do need him to be ruthless in his approach. Again, i have a feeling JW might give Ince the Wigan game and hope that we win. You also get the feeling that Williams doesnt want to see his appointment of Ince backfire, which it already has thus hoping that Ince can turn things around and not having to fire him.
Presty On Tour Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Who else is waiting very patiently for that yellow banner at the bottom of SkySports News. I'm expecting to see something very similar too: How long is a piece of string? I think if Liverpool was his last game, it would of happened already....then I could be wrong.
FourLaneBlue Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Presumably if it is going to happen it will be tomorrow morning. If not then we all need to focus on the Wigan game which is even more of a must-win than our previous 4 games. We cannot afford not to win.
