No objection to him printing stuff like that if it's true (and to be fair it may well still turn out to be) but he seems to be admitting privately on here he doesn't know what will happen!

The story on Saturday was a 'bang to rights, fair-cop-guv'nor' tale that caught Rovers with their pants down. As I have to remind you again, this was a story from the north east that appeared in a handful of papers.

The Sunday People story was based on background info that is correct...and throwing forward to what I expected the board to do. There is a lot more, incidentally. But that will have to wait.

There has been so much 'chatter' from the board room direction in the last 48 hours that I feel there is a difference of opinion in what to do and who to appoint if they do it.

So, yes, I don't know for sure what will happen now. But that's because I don't think the board do.

If you gave me a fiver I would put it on 'fudge' at the moment...

Just having a moment of clarity at the end of a long and rather odd day...

Name three clubs who Rovers will finish above on current form and future prospects?

None. Which is a) some of us fans have been saying for 2 months now, and B) why i think Ince should go!

Good evening.

Been trying to figure that out tonight.

Stoke's -10 goal difference offers some hope, but apart from that it's not looking good.

We see everything in 3D.

As I said months ago macca is colour prejudiced.

As I said at the time, either provide proof of that statement, or apologise. You did neither then (you were too busy calling Ince a "negroid" as I remember), and true to form you'll do neither now.

As for our French friend, I seem to remember I won 2-1 and unlike you was able to admit when I was wrong. You on the other hand are unable to follow simple logic. As I asked you what was wrong with the post I made?

What does that mean? That they'll do nothing for the time being, or at least until after the Wigan game?

I don't think the board know what they are doing as we speak.

If you ask me what I think will come from the meeting now I fear it will be 'carry on' and that will only be for one game.

If Rovers go down at the end of this - and there is a total 'fudge' tomorrow - then it's not just the manager who needs to answer.

I am serious about the 'what three teams do you finish above?' question.

Look at that table.

I don't take any pleasure in this. If you think the media are anti-Rovers you are wrong.

Some of us can remember the total oblivion that relegation brought last time.

If you think Rovers get nothing in the paper right now wait until you see what coverage you get in the Championship?

Somebody needs to get a grip here and now.

With regard to the fans thing on Saturday and the lack of any anti Ince chanting - Saturday was not the time. The players seemed to be playing for the manager and club more than they have done for some considerable time. They could easily have taken something from the game and lets face it, we were playing Liverpool. If you put the effort in but still get beaten, folk do appreciate it.

Behind me a feeble attempt at 'Give us our Rovers back' started but lasted only a few seconds. The test will be if we fail to win against Wigan and/or Stoke, assuming Mr Ince is still in charge. Then, I think there will be some serious protests.

Its a sad, sad situation.

INCE has to go this week! Forget the weekend, its time we made serious movement and with INCE in charge we have no chance. He has fallen out with Samba, Vogel, Peter, Friedel & Roberts - He has only been here 5 months!! No doubt our better players will want to go, and we will be the next Charlton (Bottom- about to do a leeds).

SACK HIM NOW!!!

Good evening.

Current form: West Brom

Future Prospects(If we get a right winger in January and get some confidence back in the team): West Brom, Sunderland, Newcastle, Boro, Wigan, Stoke etc.

Why do you think the board are hesitating?

Do you think they're too proud to admit Ince was a mistake?

Do they you think they're concerned about the race issue?

Do you think they're still being pennypinchers?

I think they need to come out and clarify that themselves.

History will remember what happens tomorrow.

There is a real danger that we will give Ince another game and win on saturday. This will just delay the inevitable.

There's no downside at all to getting 3 points on Saturday.

We only have twenty two games left to get the points we need, three points would give a new manager slightly more room to work with IF that's what the Board decide.

Erm .... no.

I put the other pair of chief wind up merchants on "ignore" 3 weeks ago - I can't believe you slipped through the net :P

Well if the choice is between answering the question like a grown up or running and hiding from it like a wee girl I suppose I should have guessed which one you'd go for.

I figure I can be scathing since you're not going to read this :P:lol:

I don't know, maybe you'd better get yourself over from Malta to lead the choruses at the Stoke game.................... ;)

On a serious note: Re: Sam, he seems to be courting Sunderland fairly publicly, but they seem a bit more reserved so given they reportedly have around 40 applicants for the job, he might not be the shoe in at the Stadium of Light we initially thought.

Saw a TV report that Sunderland are lining up Peter Reid to be Sam's No 2
