Where's Mystic Meg when you need her?

Although she probably already knows whether she'd keep us up or not I'm not convinced Meg's the answer Mum, although her staff might have more experience of Premier League football.

Hughesy is correct. I know from a completely different and nailed on source that there is indeed a meeting at 10am tomorrow. I even know where it is being held but obviously will not divulge. I still reckon he will be sacked though they arent certain what to do as yet.

They aren't certain what to do yet?!? FFS. Let's get it straight - the peformance against Liverpool was acceptable, there was effort there when previously there has been little. The fans could see that. What's the point in booing them off when 1. They didn't deserve it and 2. What good would it do? When you start booing the players then we really are knackered. The fact of the matter is that we still lost though (no shame in that, anyone can lose to Liverpool in this league).

If they're not certain what to do Brownie, and I have no reason to doubt you (or nicko for that matter) then what the hell was all that about last Friday then they contacted Sunderland about Big Portly Sam and AN Other club? What exactly has changed to now make them dither?

It's gone too far now. Can't see any way he can survive.

Come out tomorrow and back him, then lose at Wigan, or any upcoming home games and the board will be in trouble. To get people on his side, he will have to go on an excellent run of games and I can't see that happening.

Why do you think the board are hesitating?

Do you think they're too proud to admit Ince was a mistake?

Do they you think they're concerned about the race issue?

Do you think they're still being pennypinchers?

There probably thinking!

Can we afford to pay them off? (it'll cost more when we get relegated)

Who else is there? (BFS,AC,GS all better alternatives?)

Will they want it? (Probably if you act NOW)

How will the club look in the press regarding Race etc? (there nobs anyway feck em........not you nicko? )

I don't give a fig (for want of a better word) what Ince deserves any more than he would care about Rovers if he got a better offer. I only care about my team and he is taking them down. He may improve in time but that is too late for Rovers. Sack him and save the club!

Well said. Anybody giving a flying fig about what INCE deserves is not thinking about Rovers first and foremost.

The only important thing is what ROVERS deserve...

and I tell you what...they deserve better than what we have seen so far this season

Its a sad situation really, I never agreed with the appointment of Ince as I was in the Fat Sam camp purely on the basis of he was an experienced Premiership manager and employed Scientific coaching methods like Hughes and his focus was on winning football matches not how he won them.

I never wanted Ince to fail, why would I, I support Blackburn Rovers? If he is given a chance to turn it round and he does credit to him and the team.

Some people may question my attitude towards the idea of its ok to play unattractive boring football were the empathsis is on winning but look at Arsenal in the early 90s, Chelsea under Mouriniho they won games fans didnt care because they got to see their team win and winning for me is the best part of football. I couldnt care less if we play nice football and lose because we lost and losing is boring.

Sam may well do that Rev. Souey wouldn't turn us down - no chance. He wants back in to football. If he keeps us up he'll either get kept on, or he'll get a job elsewhere. If we go down he can say he took us over when we were well on the way, and he had no cash to spend. It's win-win, and exactly what he's been looking for.

If the board have someone lined up, then I think now is a perfect time to replace Paul Ince. As people are saying we are embarking on a series of games that would appear to be more 'winnable' than any other sequence until season's end. There is, invariably, a brief improvement in performance when a new manager takes charge. A real motivator could get the team on the front foot and keep us up.

Some may argue that PI may just turn the corner given the next few games, but the gamble is huge and on the evidence so far highly unlikely.

Owen Coyle on Sky Sports news at the moment.

Talking about how he is selling his more valuable players and managing to purchase excellent young and older replacements to take the club forward...

Also talking about his training methods that work, and how he brings the players together as a team...

If only we knew a club that needed a manager like that!

Wonder if Sam/Souey have baulked at the level of funding available in January?

Perhaps they've said thanks but no thanks?

Could be Rev - more probably because no one booed very loudly because it was a reasonable performance?

If there isn't any money to attract a new manager then just let us know eh? It's not a problem, I'll still be there, I'll just lower my expectations.

Again.

I'm not so sure, Souey is probably in last chance saloon as a manager himself. If he took us down, that'd be him finished as far as getting a job anywhere else was concerned.

Its a sad, sad situation.

INCE has to go this week! Forget the weekend, its time we made serious movement and with INCE in charge we have no chance. He has fallen out with Samba, Vogel, Peter, Friedel & Roberts - He has only been here 5 months!! No doubt our better players will want to go, and we will be the next Charlton (Bottom- about to do a leeds).

SACK HIM NOW!!!

Roberts falls out with everyone, he thinks he is Pele when sadly he is Jason Roberts.

I would fall out with Samba the way he is playing, not sure if he fell out with Friedel, and Vogel has to prove Ince wrong in dropping him on the pitch, he will get his chance.

I think so too. It has been dragging on for weeks and getting worse and worse. Even if we win our next game (which is much more likely to be a defeat based on current form by the way) we will still be in the relegation zone.

Enough is enough. We have a chance to survive so it must be now. However if they are going to stick with Ince then BACK him with money in January. We need them to make up their minds as we cannot go on in limbo like this.

Ince will be given 1-2 more games before he is sacked.

and that'll be the point of no return. We could well be 7 or 8 points adrift then. Facing 19 games in the second half of the season, where we go away to all the top 4!

IMO the board would be weak if they stuck with Ince after touting around for Souness and BFS, they obviously have not got the confidence in him.

If the board stick with him I hope I am wrong but I see little chance of beating Wigan or Stoke personally. Ince has managed to disassemble what Hughes put together, all the more impressive when you consider we are 16 games in.

He could look at it either way - but we both know how much Souey fancies himself. I'd be staggered if he was afraid to take us on in these circumstances.

I think Souey would understand that he really is in the last-chance saloon...and if he turns the offer down he will never get another chance in the Prem.

Hope we are not stupid enough to jump from the frying pan into the fire.

Even with money this job at the minute is a challenge, Don't think either would care in the slightest if there is no money just so they could manage in the big time again. We'd certainly never lose a manager to newcastle anyway, Think allardyce would settle for working day to day for 25k a week, newcastle has more than likely set his ambition level to making a better club than the geordies......."£$% himself into a coma if he kept us up and newcastle went down.

If there is a meeting tomorrow and mr williams is going to be asked by the press the outcome before saturday there can only be 1 answer, resulting in a sacking. Lose to wigan, go 11 games winless and no one will back ince and he'll have to back track on a statement made 3 days earlier and look a tool. if the board backs ince.
